i meant to check if i could turn off hostile mobs without going into peaceful because it was getting painful during the night. The Death Angels are SUPPOSED to attack any mob that makes a noise but most of the time they just kill you instead (I guess the zombies growling and the spiders hissing don't count as noise???)
Yeah that's why they usually attack monsters if they make a noise a player could make (jumping, breaking a block, or, if you're my soon-to-be pet raccoon,[i was playing off camera] SPLASHING WATER)
The game giving you starter hints such as "Hold left button to destroy a tree" while you are already fighting for your life is such a bizarre and scary situation
It was very painful dying once and having to crouch walk ALL the way back to where I was to get my stuff. But that's also what made dying so terrible and this mod so tense

@@AvalonKRTthe way to maybe defeat this mod is to make a red stone machine that just makes noise and surround it with blocks they can’t destroy
