    Link light rail is a light rail rapid transit system serving the Seattle metropolitan area in the U.S. state of Washington. The East Link Starter Line, also called the 2 Line, begins service on 4/27/2024 with eight stops in Bellevue and Redmond. This video is a full rear view, starting from Redmond Technology Station to South Bellevue Station.

      @@realquadmoo first of all why is the announcement "doors to MY right" not "doors to THE right" it sounds extremely strange and isnt used anywhere else. some of the pronunciations are very weird. it seems like they tried to humanise what obviously sounds like AI

      @@thegreypenguin5097 Actually it's also used in Portland as well as plenty of other systems. You are just not used to it but that's genuinely such a childish thing to pick at.

      @@thegreypenguin5097 Also, it's a text to speech voice just like a lot of systems. For example, BART uses Sharon. We use Ashley. I do have issues with two of the pronunciations on the S700 2 Line announcements. Our Kinkisharyos have a more edited version of Ashley that sounds a little bit different.
