I wouldn’t recommend, I would say get good at pushups first once you’re able to do 15-20 pushups consecutively for sets then progress to slower time under tension pushups, which are pretty hard. And if you’re fat the same thing. Cardio plus resistance training and nutrition helps with fat, I will make a vid in the future, thanks for support!

I mean...all the spoken information is 100% legit, but in the video, you have THE EXACT same ARCH IN YOUR BACK THAT YOU TOLD US TO NOT HAVE.
I'm glad you're preaching the right info, but damn, you ain't practicing what you preach..
I saw 1 commenter say something akin to "i just reached 50 reps (presumably per set) so I'm gonna do them with a weight vest now".
Mabye you won't hurt yourself with regular pushups with bad form, but if that guy does his weighted vest pushups the same eay you do in the video, he's gonna hurt himself...
FORM MATTERS for injury prevention. You can't just verbaly present it in your video so that you can then demonstrate you have 0% understanding of it in actual practice.

I incorporate archers aswell they can lead you to one arm press-ups and the more flexed your triceps and shoulders are the more they are being worked which contributes to being able to achieve the one arm press up. From there it’s progress with the one arm ,all you are required to do is learn the correct form. After that you can keep going and if your really strong you can do one arm chest tap push ups.

another very helpful thing I used to do when training at home is try to squeeze those hands as if u wanted to bring them together, both on the negative and on the positive. As you may or may not know, the chest has two main functions: pusing the arm and bringing it across the body. With a push up you're already pushing the arm, if you also do this trick you're gonna activate it a lot more. Your hands are obviously not gonna move off the ground, but you're gonna feel a greater contraction and it will help you get better gains. It may take a bit to master but once u do, it s very effective. Other tips would be to do different variations such as diamond push ups, incline , decline etc, put some water jugs in a back pack to increase weight etc. If u could get some rubber bands and dip bars ( or some place where u could do dips) you'd really step up the game. Focus on form, contraction, time under tension, eat good rest and you will get bigger and stronger. No excuses guys, I worked out at home for about 4 years and had a physique better than most guys who were going to the gym.

@@finedyldaddy4852 Some of you guys assume I don't work out. I have been working out for over 10 years. Push-ups aren't a good chest builder in the first place. They just don't target the chest as much. It's so easy to use your back, shoulders, and triceps instead of your chest in pushups. They're just too easy. There are better workouts that target your chest more directly. Genetics play a major roll. The guy can gain a great chest from pushups because his genetics are great for muscle. Meanwhile another person will do the same and not gain much.

Lock outs arent what you want usually. 3/4 rom is the most efficient for muscle atrophy. Your correct to add multiple variations, remember its reversed for pushups..where incline press is upper chest, decline pushups is also upper chest. I do an extreme decline to hit shoulders hard as well. Close grip for triceps, wide for outter pecs, and negatives for slight back activation. Dont do a 1000 a day if you want to grow the muscle, and dont do them everyday either unless you just want performance. Do pushup routine w different variations every 3 days. You need to cycle your muscle groups. So first day pushups, second day legs, third day pull-ups or use a rope or strap and do inverted rows w multiple variations. You can add any dumbell or strap work wherever for things like side delts, biceps, traps etc. Work hard, diet harder..you need to eat good and healthy to see gains. Also, rest. Its good to take a couple days off here and there.

Tip for you: get your elbows closer, hands should be aligned with shoulder width no wide push ups, you will feel it, you won't be able to do half of what you can do now. Also no need for 5s push ups, explosive power is also good for building muscle, that being said you don't want to make them too fast either as many do it wrong, normal push up should last 2-3s for one rep, and in that time you get low and up
