- in this vedio we will knit a " beautiful jacket " for girl age 4 to 5 years old.
MATERIAL USED
baby wool approximately 150gm
knitting needles 3.75mm ( indian 9 no.)
we will measure this jacket with garter st rows.
BACK SIDE
cast on 82 sts. and knit 5 garter st rows.
now divide sts in 3 parts, ( 8+66+8 ) knit 8 sts in garter pattern, 66 sts plain, 8 sts in garter pattern.
knit 45 garter st row length.
till now we have total length is 50 garter rows. ( 5+45 ).
decrease 3, 3 sts on both sides. now we have 5, 5 sts in garter pattern on both sides.
now we have 76 sts on our needles. knit 24 garter rows with 76 sts.
divide sts in 3 ( 22+32+22 ) knit 32 sts in garter pattern and complete 5 garter rows length.
bind off 22 sts in middle, ( we will bind off sts in wrong side row )
our back side is complete.
FRONT SIDE ( 1st one )
cast on 78 sts, knit 5 garter rows length. divide sts as ( 8+48+17+5 ) 8 sts in garter, 48 sts in plain, 17 sts with lace pattern, 5 sts in garter.
in every right side row decrease 1 st till we get 27 sts. in last. it is very clear shown in video.
knit 45 garter rows length. decrease 3 sts on shoulder side. knit 27 garter rows. knit 3 garter rows with all 27 sts in garter pattern.
one front side is complete.
FRONT SIDE ( 2nd one )
we will knit 2nd side same as first one., but remember the sides, in 2nd side switch shoulder and button patti as shown in video.
make 4 button holes, first 2 button holes after 10 garter rows length and other 2 at 30 garter rows length. 1 button hole will be in button patti 2nd after 25 sts in same row.
join shoulders and sew sides of jacket.
makeup with buttons. before tucking buttons mark it as I did in video.
our beautiful jacket is ready.

Just change knitting needles one no. Up and add 10 sts
You can try with 2 different ways
1. just change knitting needles one no. Up
2. Add 10 st ir length according your choice
