Never mind the speed, just look at the view - amazing!
I’m sure you are aware that you passed the valley station of the Brienz Rothorn Bahn (steam mountain railway) at Brienz Station. Unfortunately the railway was very badly damaged in storms a few weeks ago and it is closed till next year at the earliest as much of the line has to be replaced.
sounds complex, hope they can get it sorted.
Yes there was a very bad storm, but all will be replaced. I could be even worse for the Brienz-Rothorn-Bahn.
The damage on the Zentralbahn (former Bruenig-Bahn) is even worse.
@@georgeshuber7150 that's good to know.
What a beautiful vista
Very good!
What a cool trip that must have been! (Dave).
Another train I need to ride if I ever get to Switzerland! Thanks for sharing. BTW, it's Interlaken, not Interlarken.
Very nice Sir
Very interesting ride, Henry, and a nice steam locomotive. In Sweden the railway from Anten to Gräfsnäs also has steam locomotives capable of running 60 km/h according to their website, but I don't know if they actually run that fast.
Thank you for taking us on the ride!
