- On August 12, 2024, Metra EMD SD70MACH No. 515 idles outside of the northern entrance to Chicago Union Station in push mode for a few minutes as it waits for an available platform. These locomotives, having entered service last year one Metra, replaced the F40PH fleet on all Milwaukee District and North Central Service Trains.
