For what you said at the end about the butterfly, here's what I thought: So I thought of this theory right after I watched this the first time (I don't know if anyone else has a similar theory), but basically, this whole music video kind of shows the storyline of nct and how they could affect the timeline. In this mv, nct is like a genie stuck in a bottle ready to make our wishes come true. And at the end of the video, it cuts to the scene of a butterfly flying in a train. Have you ever heard of that saying, "a butterfly can flap its wings and cause a tornado?" or essentially the butterfly effect (small changes can lead to big complex changes). Well, this butterfly that they show represents that theory and how one small change can affect everything else. They are saying whatever wish that you make will have consequences. ALSO, trains are usually a symbol of time passing in literature or a symbol of predestined journey, getting from Pt.A to Pt.B (in this case, from the past to future). In conclusion, that butterfly represents your wish that could possibly change the entire course of time, and because of that, nct has to do some time traveling signified by the train. I'm not sure about this part and how it all ties together, but I honestly thought all the symbolism was crazy! PS: please leave a comment if you have any theories or new ideas I should add!

Some fans are really out there expecting people to answer a questionaire about the group before listening to their songs.
You can't really expect every single person who hasn't ever listened to NCT, they see it in idk TH-cam trending videos and then go make a whole research about the group before listening to the video. That doesn't make any sense. And even if they do know previous works from NCT, not every one is obliged to know every little detail about the group's dynamics, some people are in it just for the songs and not for the whole stan culture experience. It's good if people get interested into knowing it, but they shouldn't be antagonized if they don't. You guys took Misfit as it came, one of you didn't love it and that's fair, you still appreciated and respected it and that's what's important.

@@charlsreyn I agree. People don't need to know a lot about a group to react to their music, but people are getting annoyed that they said they stan NCT yet seem to know barely anything about them. If they made it clear that they're just interested in the music then we wouldn't have a problem, but it's more like a case of miscommunication.

Your “rant” is embarrassing. While in other occasions I’d agree in this particular situation I definitely mf don’t. They’ve been claiming to stan nct for the longest time already for more than 2 years yet they can’t even bother to learn the basics about them. They don’t need to know everything about nct but if you claim to stan a group like I said you’ll at least know the basics. In their case they’ve been claiming to try to learn about nct for years now and the one time they did a guide they were bashing on ncts concept so this is why people are upset

For what you said at the end about the butterfly, here's what I thought:
So I thought of this theory right after I watched this the first time (I don't know if anyone else has a similar theory), but basically, this whole music video kind of shows the storyline of nct and how they could affect the timeline. In this mv, nct is like a genie stuck in a bottle ready to make our wishes come true.
And at the end of the video, it cuts to the scene of a butterfly flying in a train. Have you ever heard of that saying, "a butterfly can flap its wings and cause a tornado?" or essentially the butterfly effect (small changes can lead to big complex changes). Well, this butterfly that they show represents that theory and how one small change can affect everything else. They are saying whatever wish that you make will have consequences.
ALSO, trains are usually a symbol of time passing in literature or a symbol of predestined journey, getting from Pt.A to Pt.B (in this case, from the past to future).
In conclusion, that butterfly represents your wish that could possibly change the entire course of time, and because of that, nct has to do some time traveling signified by the train. I'm not sure about this part and how it all ties together, but I honestly thought all the symbolism was crazy!

The whole NCT unit is underrated. They are to damn talented.
