Despite there being a state called Kansas, Arkansas for whatever reason is pronounced “Ar-kan-saw”. Don’t worry though, because it doesn’t make sense to us Americans either. Great video!
I love this idea! Both relaxing and educational. I love the way you pronounce Colorado, Connecticut and Delaware. But my favorite one was Massachusetts. 😅 Also as a Bulgarian I think it's time for a video in Bulgarian language... 😅 P. S. This hat is so charming.
I know you gave that disclaimer about the names but I think it is cool how you pronounce the state names. They all have different origins from the languages of Native American dialects and separate, Spanish, and French alongside English. I like how you pronounce Illinois in particular.
Amazing idea of making such a video! Next time, as a fellow French, maybe all of France departments, regions, it will be funny or maybe the Japanese prefectures? (I suck so much at Japanese geography, but if you know what I meant, you know these things) thank you for helping me, us relax!
Yeah, I really want some more portuguese stuff so I can have my ego flattered by a gringo lol But I think if he did too much Brazil content, the comment section would be inundated with portuguese comments and that USUALLY doesn't end up well (tipo o ator do chris que ficou puto com os brazuca).
It’s fun to hear Minnesota actually pronounced with the t. Here we say it like Minnesoda. And I don’t get out enough to hear anyone say it outside of here. Also it’s kinda ironic that we say soda at the end because we call soda, pop.
Loved it! Pierre, would you like to do the same with Russia?) we have a lot of republics and autonomous districts too. Or what if you whispered the capital city for each republic?! That would be even more interesting. It might’d be sweet and tingly
This country doesn’t deserve its states or anything else to be pronounced. It’s not against you but what is happening with russia these days man... that’s not normal
It could be interesting if you could try a similar video, something like English/American/Australian/(insert other native english accents): Which is the tinglest? Thank you for the tingly video, love frim Czech Republic :)
I’m from Kalamazoo Michigan! I loved the way you repeated the syllables in Michigan, very tingly. Also, sadly, Kalamazoo does not have a zoo in it. Everyone always asks
We also have a lot of history with the French here in Michigan. A lot of our towns have French names that we say totally wrong in our American accents 😂

i thought it was funny he pronounced it “our kansas” cause where i live everyone called it that for the longest time as a joke
I lived in 4 different states and visited many more. I love how unique each state is in terms of culture, people, and geography.
