simple strat:
farm and get about 6-8 hotdog franks (maxed)
then max wizards and use the ability at waves 35-40

I think ur fencing at the wrong time
Maybe you placed the fences after cause you have to place them before they come and if you don’t upgrade them by the intermission they will break through
