We have it with a closed handle 2023. Like the look, very cute and clean looking. Doesn't brew all the water, takes too long too come out, too...then drips only complaints so far.
It's funny, I just purchased the same maker, 02/17/21 and one of the things we both wish there was, is a display backlight. I wonder if it's because it's so close to the brew basket i.e. moisture, heat transfer, who knows, just wish it had one. I have to buy one of those water filters. I also wish they made one for Lefty's like me.
Are you an engineer by any chance? Your video is very well detailed and you took note of all the small details I tend to pay attention to. The temperature gun was the icing on the cake for me. I really enjoyed your video and you now have an additional sub!
I bought it today! I’m just wondering if I put it on “brew later” how do I turn it off after it makes the coffee, like without having to wait for the 4 hour auto shut off? Do I still press “brew now” to turn it off? I’m a little confused 😐
I've had this model for a few years and in my experience, yes it does work. It's not a huge difference but it is noticable when comparing identical coffee with the same amount, which I have done. That said, I have tried a lot of different coffees, some I prefer to use the strong setting, others I prefer the normal setting. All the strong setting does is make it brew slower to extract more flavor.
I bought this one yesterday. $37 I went back to basic coffee machines better tasting coffee. Keurig wasn’t doing anything as far as producing great coffee. ☕️ after all it just runs through and just for convenience.
Pause brewing piece came apart and I have the spring and that round black part but I can’t figure out how to put it back together. Any advice. Other than that I LOVE this coffee pot. It makes coffee very fast.
An insert says you should see the water filtration system friendly indicator on the basket. Just like you, I did not see it. You said it was ok to use although it would be a little loose... but did not use it. Can one be used with this model?

@@JustADad I'm not really a coffee snob. But, I do order/brew some chocolate coffee from time to time and drink it cold, w/a little bit of creamer in it. Too hot, for hot coffee in Florida this time of year!

But how in the heck did you (or does anyone) really taste a 168 to 170 degree cup of coffee ☕ @10:30-10:45 ☘️ That would've burnt the crap out of me 😂 I think I am buying this coffee pot after watching your video. They got one that is thermal, that supposedly heats your coffee to 212° But I am scared. Maybe I just can't drink coffee like the rest of you guys 🤷🏻♂️ I always have to add water to it or let it cool down? Love & Respect 🙏
Thanks for Watching and you are correct. the coffee is really hot to get a good taste. I do blow on it and can get a somewhat taste from that but it is really hot. Mainly what I am going off is how it has tasted in the past when I used it everyday. Sorry for the confusion, I think you are perfectly normal coffee is really hot. The one thing I have learned drinking coffee is that is does cool off really fast, If you keep blowing on it that really helps and your Tongue does get kinda used to hot coffee after awhile but even when it first comes out it's still too hot to drink.
@@JustADad Howdy again. I got a funny one for you. So it was a toss up for me between this one and the Mr. Coffee thermal coffee pot. Target had the thermal one on clearance for 35 bucks. So... Last night I buy the Mr. Coffee thermal coffee pot. I hear it go off this morning. I'm so excited. I can hear it. I'm like yasss! Gonna wake up an have coffee. It sounds like a water fall. So relaxing. Then I wake up and see the Coffee lake. Complete with coffee water fall and everything. All over my stuff, ran out into my hallway in my apartment 👉 Apparently last night I ran the rinse cycle. Pre set it. And forgot to dump the rinse water. Coffee everywhere 🎉 10 cups! It's metal. So you can't see inside it. If it leaks I am going back for this one. Epic though 💁🏻♂️

I have always thought that was one of the things I didn't like about the metal pots is you can't see what is inside them, I thought that be a problem but didn't know how till your story, WOW just when you think it's going to be a great day fresh pot of coffee then WAM!! you get coffee all over, I got a good chuckle on that one. My wife likes coffee and bought Mr. Coffee model BVMC-MX23 and it stopped working at 4 months 😫 F--ken Junk But what can you expect ? "made in China" in small print on the bottom of the product ! I guess we have to buy another but, Not Mr. Coffee every again !

you need the paper filter, but you can buy a permanent one if you want

How long did it take to brew on the regular setting? I may have missed that info in the video.
I think I forgot the mention that. It takes about a minute per cup, so for 12 cups about 12 minutes.

No but some say the coffee taste better with a water filter. You do need a coffee filter for the coffee grounds

How do I strong brew on a timmer
Just press the strong brew and make sure its light is on when you turn on the the delay brew.
Get a reusable screen basket, and overfilling isn't an issue.
