The song is not much about "female empowerment", but more about solidarity with Ukraine. The "sisters" in the song are not people but the slavic nations.
The final was quite unimpressive to me. The video is better. However, this song has been in my top 5 from the beginning. Even top 3. But when I have seen the song performed on the song, it has been more a mess, so it has been more or less unimpressive each time. What has impressed me is actually the unity of the band and the attitude of the song: there are several nationalities in the band, so it is multilingual, multicultural, but what unites them is the artistry and being "sisters". I do hope they make it to the top 10. But I also see a possibility they do not really succeed due to the unimpressiveness. So not getting so emotional about it might not be because of the medication but just the fact that the performance is not so impressive. They need a bit more power to the performance, perhaps more edginess.
@@msfoxie Maybe giving it a ounce of the video aesthetics might help. :-) But I do not know how to do that on stage. By far the stage performances have been a bit unorganized, if it is a good word to describe it...

Yes, I agree, I caught a glimpse of the music video sometime later, and it was way more impressive and effective than the live performance.
