Great review! If I ever get a new putter, I will try that fitting process! PXG has very nice looking putters, but still love my Toulon Palm Springs.
Played two rounds w the pxg Hercules double bend m16 shaft. Coming from a Scotty delmar. Incredibly well balanced, very soft feeling and phenomenal roll. I can pull the putter back very slow and don’t have to hit the ball so hard which makes me so much more consistent w center hits.
Filed under "things you never thought you'd say to another man" - you have a lovely stroke on you Sir! Put a nice roll on the ball.
Was interesting see a seemingly perfect stroke and sinking consecutive putts, and yet when zoomed in was slightly out of the toe. Shows how good the pros are and how forgiving these new putters are. My face is so soft i have no idea whereabouts the ball hits!
Interesting Andy! Thanks
Going for a fitting tomorrow, looking forward to it.
I have the Clydesdale and Batattack. Absolutely love the Batattack. Have yet to game the Clydesdale.
I play a face balanced double bend Tyne sigma 2. About to book a custom fit for putter at Scottsdale golf. The ultimate aim is to choose and buy one of the LAB putters.
Bat attack or Blackjack with a M16 center shaft would get me interested.
I was more interested it the sole weights and what effect they have
I have said this and other videos, but it seems like putter fitting is the last priority for most any golfer and we are all racing to get custom fit for a driver. If I was in the market for a new one, I would absolutely go and get fit for a putter.
Funny I picked the same three, as they are the ones that attract my eye
Comparison to the MEZZ especially given something like four of the top ten in last weeks event including the winner (Glover) were playing the MEZZ.
Where was that filmed? Fitter has an Irish accent but we have little or no PXG fitters in Ireland
Irish people are now forbidden from leaving their village as we all know.
They look great, nice fitting. Some serious mike issues
Problem with pxg is the paint work doesn't last, once it fades, it really doesn't look good. Felt that the ping powder coating is way better
I nearly purchased a PXG “One and Done” putter but ended up with Envroll. Interesting that PXG don’t check putter loft and lie.
I agree,it did not seem that much of a scientific approach.
More likely what you would do yourself whenever you try a number of putters.
I mean this is only what we saw and it varies from fitter to fitter. I had a pxg putter fitting. Wasn't quite Ian Fraser at TXG but they did test me for length and see what dynamic loft I hit ball at with the trackman.
Nice putters but I'll stick with my Ping PLD
I have a Cameron Futura, Cobra 3D Agera and a Honu, wouldn't change that lineup for the world
Connor looks like he'd rather be doing something else🥱
I had a fitting over the Christmas period, tried loads of different putters and setups, finished on getting the Batattack 33 inch. It was bye far the most consistent for me.
