I've been teaching this lovely old American gospel song on my fingerstyle guitar workshops at Cecil Sharp House for the EFDSS (www.efdss.org/.... I chose it as its a fabulous arrangement that really makes the most of Open G tuning and I thought it would make a good introduction for my class. I first heard this on the 1994 Martin Simpson album 'A Closer Walk With Thee' a few years back and fell in love with it.
