"If I just listen to my body, I'll rest for ever." Possibly the most relatable comment I've EVER heard! Thanks for making these videos!

You talked several times about resting and being tired. Here's what I do to reset and still listen to my body... I get up and go to bed at the scheduled times for my routine. Then I schedule a rest period. If my body is tired, it can sleep. If it just wants to realign, maybe I'll read or watch Heart Breathings. If I'm not tired after 15 minutes, my body starts with the "you could be doing...." thoughts. Then I know its time to get going. To get back on routine, l never sleep in. I've been known to get through the morning routine: dress, eat, dishes and then lay back down...but always get up and go to bed at the same time. 💖😷🌞🌵

I have taken to frankensteining the HB90 for different purposes, and that future quarters parking lot makes it into EVERY iteration. It works exactly as you described - my brain is able to just let go of things because I know they are covered. Thank you for all the work you put into that tool.

I'm commenting everywhere😂but the vision board part: I have multiple pages of laminated vision boards in my master writing letter size Happy Planner-conglomeration lol.
🌹Periodically I'll make another front and back page and add it and move others to the back because at different times I need different feels.
🌹I have a rare chronic illness, and I am caretaker for a family member, so I no longer live in my own home (no control/no space) and went out on early Social Security, because I got diagnosed too late to get disability. All that to say: Writing for me is not only a place I can go to enjoy and have control and create, but is also my future financially. So those vision boards are so important!!!
🌹🕊️ They along with my faith walk make such a difference every morning 🙏🤍🕊️
I just want to thank you Sarra for everything you do and give. I am a happy recipient, but I also want you to take care of yourself. 💜💜💜

Thank you for sharing that so one elsedoesnt perfectly clean up their house before leaving for a trip! That’s been a shame, not good enough area for me 😕 Love the idea of “stepping into day 1” attacking something the days leading up to it to be prepared to take off that day! That sounds so much better than trying to have a Day 1 and feeling like you can’t keep up. ❤

HI Sarra. Welcome home! I know your time with Amber was awesome. I almost jumped in with Amber but I found everything I needed with you.
I started the week out with a migraine for 2 days so I didn't accomplish the business stuff I wanted out of the way before the RSJCon started. I've told myself it's okay. At least I'm able to attend this conference (On-Line and AMAZING). I'll take stock on Sunday what I need to do for next week and move on from there.
I could have been getting up early and doing stuff but I've just allowed myself the luxury of sleeping in since the conference doesn't start til 11 a.m. CST. Something I never do.
Give yourself permission to do what you need. You'll be happier. Creative Blessings & Hugs!

I always have a hard time getting back into my routine after a break of more than a day or two, which is why I add in buffer days. Like you did Friday, I usually take one of those buffer days to ease in by catching up on email and other things that are low energy. Also.... I'm excited about Inker's Con too! I'd love some sort of Hearties after event if there's enough interest and you can work it in.

Oh my gosh. This is such a huge problem for me, and my routine is constantly interrupted for trips of various kinds. These are really great tips and tactics. I’m going to add this video to my favorites and schedule a rewatch for the day after my next trip (which is in less than two weeks. Ugh.)
Also, thanks for the Inkers Con coupon code! I plan to sign up, and I’d love to join an HB group related to it!

I am definitely not a person that can get back to work quickly. Chronic illness and needing mental breaks after a trip...yeah I need like at least a couple days to regroup. But like you I'll rest forever if I could so I start on lists of projects and tasks and promise myself the completion of one or two things and then work up the amount per day until I've gotten back in the swing. But then again I'm always working too much or needing a break...there's no in between rofl😂

Hey Sarra, can you make a series of writing and developing great characters, especially antagonists cause I am in the middle of developing mine now, and it is really overwhelming. You are superhero in explaining and simplifying writing stuff. I hope you notice this. Thanks for everything you share ❤️
