had no idea what to expect to be honest. Took me a year to get it. On the drive home could not believe all the room inside for the two of us. The ride and handling is superb. An all around amazing truck I am now getting around 37mpg on a trip with cruise control. Run 91 octane for be performance. These little engines love it. cheers. Reply

Nice review, but got mine orderd as xlt fwd eco cyber grey, all weather mats, tow hitch, sprayed in liner, front license plate ( planning on using this for decorating then stickering up the truck). Also have the 360 package, cause here in western Kentucky, not much snow and not planning on going off road. All this is around 29900.
That sounds like a pretty good spec, the spray-in liner is nice to have, and I'm imagining since it's FWD maybe you'll see a small little bump in fuel economy too. Good price too! Thank you for watching!

I really wish they would release the Lobo (Wolf) trim. It's basically an ST or RS trim. Only problem is it will be spendy. 😭I hope it will be in line with the Tremor in price.
I have a '24 XLT with all wheel drive and the FX4 with tow package. I can tell you, those mileage numbers are off. I'm getting close to 24 town driving and 32 on the highway. You'll find that many reviewers who own them are getting similar numbers to me.
I have been looking at them but the cost for the Mavericks here is outrageous with some going for near 50K, I am actually considering going with the Ridgeline because a new 2023 Ridgeline RTL is actually about 5K cheaper than a similarly equipped Maverick Lariat,
Well for what it’s worth. Driving these trucks back to back. I had a lot more fun in the Maverick than I did in the Ridgeline. The buttons and everything are far more intuitive than the ridgelines layout. Also the Maverick has a much sportier, light on its feet feel compared to the Ridgeline in part due to the fact that it’s a bit smaller. Now what I will say I prefer on the Ridgeline is the slightly higher towing capacity and the extra space in the back seat. Not to mention that sweet, sweet V6 sound in the Ridgeline and when you get the Ridgeline in the power band it is actually a very fun truck. Also the Ridgeline is a BEAST in the snow. But if you don’t really use your backseat or tow much of anything, I think the Maverick would be a great choice even if it is a few bucks more! Thank you for watching Tom!

The Maverick shouldn't be the same price as the Ridgeline, then it's eating into Ranger sales, my two Ford dealership where I have bought before now have a few Mavericks on hand, and not up charging anymore.
nice truck.....crappy tires. Make sure you get the FX4 package and 4K tow package. You then will get better tires !!!! The drop in bedliner has been done well......also get bed mat so items don't slide around.
I really like the Maverick and would have bought one if not for the $10k markup. For that price you’d be a fool to not step up to the Ridgeline, which is superior in every way.
The Ridgeline on paper and for a few reasons in person including the trunk is better, but when I rode in the Maverick, it had way more charisma than the Ridgeline and I had a lot more fun driving the Maverick. It’s all personal preference though. As nimble and fun as the Maverick is, I also really missed the engine note of that glorious 3.5L Honda V6. They both have their perks, but I’ll agree these ADM’s are getting damn ridiculous. Thank you for watching!

Here is a few comparisons Ridgeline is ground clearance 7.6 inches, Ford Maverick 8.6 AWD and optional Tremor 9.4 inches. Backseat similar leg room, the Maverick has more headroom. Engine displacement the Ridgeline has more horsepower 282 at 6000 rpm but less torque 262 at 4700 rpm The Maverick has 250 horsepower at 5000rpm and 270 ft lbs of torque at 3000rpm. So the engine is working harder 1700 more rpm to get less torque on the Ridgeline. It just might be why the projected fuel economy is so much lower then the Ford Maverick. Let's look at the truck bed cargo volume on the Ridgeline is 33.9 cubic ft, the Maverick offers 33.3 cubic ft not a drastic difference for sure, especially 10,000 dollars more. Lastly if your off road you can get a full size spare on the Maverick, the Ridgeline gets a donut. The kicker is if the bed is loaded you can not even get the donut out on the Ridgeline. Also the Maverick is similar or faster from 0 to 60. So these are just a few noticeable differences. Just also want to point out if driving in heavy or deep snow that ground clearance is crucial along with having a regular spare tire for traction.
Let's call it, "The Maverick Method." Launch a 20k small bedded 'truck', get everyone's attention and interest, intentionally don't make enough of them, and then charge 30-40k for them. Perfect. Make Mexican made American vehicles great!!

Ford announced this year that they lose $35k per EV produced. So how does the big 3 pricing models work? You got it, you're paying $1000's over and above for that gas or hybrid model to subsidize the garbage line of EV's. Honestly $32k+ taxes etc for this? The reason that vehicle is quick with a 2.0 engine is because it is sitting on a light unibody Ford Focus CAR platform (as does the intro Bronco). Classifying this model as a "truck" is SOOOOOO subjective, more.. This is a hard pass, for me. When you see the lowest cost vehicle selling well (Maverick) while the F150's, Ram 1500's, and the GM 1500's are sitting on the lot collecting pollen. Unless we see significant discounts (soon) for new trucks/SUV's, the Spring sales numbers for the big 3 are really going to stink. I wanted to buy a new truck, but I'll hold onto my older model truck until sanity comes back into the market. Just go online and search 2023 new trucks... yeah there are tons of them available for $3k less than a 2024. Thanks for the video.

It is expensive for what it is, but by comparison I wanna say it’s around the same price as a mid-tier Chevy Equinox so it’s not a horrible value, as long as you don’t pay ADM of course.

I bought the fx4 model which I believe mpg is 24 29 which is fine with me! But the tremor is listed at, I believe, 21 24.

It is expensive for what it is, but by comparison I wanna say it’s around the same price as a mid-tier Chevy Equinox so it’s not a horrible value, as long as you don’t pay ADM of course.
