I've watched interviews of Focus talking about how this song is just a joke to everyone who was there when they jammed and made it. It was all for fun and you can see that by the way they are laughing at each other. Music should always be just for fun, even if you are making mufti-millions of dollars. This was a great group. You can't come up with something like this if you have no talent. Very simplistic yet so powerful. I feel that growing up in the 60's and 70's is such a treasure for me. I feel very fortunate to have been able to watch rock & roll grow from a tiny seed back in the 50's to a beautiful rose in the 70's. Unfortunately just like the rose it withers and dies. Maybe someday a seed will again be planted and another beautiful flower will come of it. If it is going to happen, it better be soon or else I'm gonna miss it!!!

The first time I heard this song, I was a junior at college and went to see my cousin in San Diego. We smoked a joint and turned up the loud speakers incredibly loud. From the first notes, I blasted off and imagined I was traveling in space...when the ride was over, we looked at each other and cracked up. What a song! What a journey. And, although I haven't smoked the evil weed in 30-plus years, the song still holds up. Way to go, Focus!
