Togashi said all the troupe members is going die. I don't think kurapika is going side with person that kill off his clan. Prince wobble how you look at is the key of beating Tserriednich with her nen beast. Prince wobble nen beast how Togashi never reveal it appearance its going to be play a huge role.

@@jackp492 Babies at 6 months need help when getting into a sitting position. Woble can go to a sitting position on her own so she's most likely at least 8/9 months. Plus, we didn't get the chance to see her crawl most likely due to the circumstances of the succession war. She's mostly either being carried by oito or in her crib/mom's bed. It does vary from person to person since some people are faster learners than others but based on the average I would say she's not 6 months or under

There are some hints in the Phantom Troupe flashbacks that point to Chrollo, while being raised in meteor city, he was not born there and is not originally from there, but was brought there as a child or a baby.
Isn't pretty much every child in meteor city dumped there.

There's a huge population in Meteor City, so I think the ratio of kids born to kids dumped there is more evenly distributed if not leaning heavily on the born side. There are also probably kids who don't know one way pr another because (if they were dumped) it happened when they were too young to remember

Can’t tell you how much more enjoyable a theory video is when you take the “this is why this doesn’t make sense” approach. It gives so much weight to the speculation and makes the dots that DO connect feel so much more significant. Shows your love for not just HxH, but the art of storytelling as a whole. I’ll be checking in well after the Hunter days are behind us.

I've always thought that Meteor City was in a desert and I thought "what better place than that huge desert?". But now we know there's a forest nearby so that kinda fucks my theory, damn...

I like the last part where it's pointed out how every poverty scene is the same, meaning that it's pretty much equally likely for Gyro to be Queen Oito's brother as it is for Chrollo to be.
My big take away from the video is the Oito and Chrollo are really impressive being so big brained but coming from nothing
I really like the idea that Liam saw that painting of the blimp guy on first read, came up with this funny idea of him having the painting commissioned in a single day and sent to all of his wives, and then Liam has been furiously seeking for a place to hamfist the idea into a video ever since.
That situation about saving the baby or the eyes reminded me of one test they all passed during the HxH test, about choosing to save the mother or wife... And Gon is the only one who takes that into consideration...

Never did I think I would defend Chrollo like this, but seeing the backstory to the Troupe really changed my perspective of the situation.

And yeah I can imagine how that would be a nightmare. They do say that people with dyslexia have a stronger visualization ability that gets in the way of reading/writing words. Just like how smarter people have bad writing. Don't sweat it, it is very much a strength.
I grew up with French so I have an easier time with those sorts of names. Since French and Japanese have almost similar pronunciation to many of their syllables. I just spell it using French.

Not sure about your last point. If Oito can care about Momoze (a girl she isn't even related with by blood and that she barely knows), I don't see why she wouldn't about the brother she grew up with. Then I also don't see why Chrollo wouldn't care about Oito: she's from Meteor City plus her sister

Keeps in mind that in 2017 I didn’t even know Hunter X Hunter was an anime and that in 2020 to now primarily thanks to you this has become my favorite anime series to follow online.
When it comes to character driven story, almost no series comes close. Vinland saga, maybe.

I am always amazed by Togashi sensei's world building the power structure and dynamics are very different than our world which is very refreshing because other mangaka like Oda sensei's world(One piece) greatly resembles our own. I truly believe HxH is the best manga ever and I just hope we are able to watch it's completion.
At around 1:30 there's a subtitle issue. There was also a recent issue with an HxH iceberg video wherein it showed both Heaven's Arena and the Burj Khalifa as having the same height in feet. Make sure those editors are rewatching the videos through!

Leorio is the part of the scooby gang that first reacts to and gives exposition on Meteor city and the Mafia's relationship to it. This is despite Leorio having no previously shown relationship to Meteor city or the Mafia. He also claims that the Phantom troupe has a special meaning to meteor city (ch 105). Leorio is not a guy with underground connections. Most of what he knows purportedly is official knowledge. The knowledge of Meteor city is largely related to the underground. So how does he know about it?
He is also the first person in the scooby gang to give exposition on the Phantom troupe, which is special in Meteor city. He claims that everyone knows about them (ch 18), but in fact when they appear or start moving in one of the most populous cities... nobody appears to know them. Or of them. Even in the Mafia - only the higher ups do.
I'm gonna call it guys. Leorio is from Meteor city. He knows OF the phantom troupe because they were special there. He can't admit to Kurapika that he somewhat respects them, that he grew up hearing of them. He was probably even one of the younger kids that was able to watch some of Chrollo's productions.
Leorio surprised me when he gave that info up so quickly. Lol
Have we ever had it confirmed whether the genocide of Kurapika’s clan was “justified” to the spiders? I’m sure there’s no real justification for an act like that, but did the spiders feel justified for some reason beyond stealing eyes for money.
I’m just curious if there’s a plot thread Togashi can pull on, bc the complexities of Kurapika’s relationship with the spiders and the world either need to adapt & evolve or Kurapika seems destined to condemn himself via blind revenge
There's actually a fan *"theory"* about the reason why the Phantom Troupes attack the Kurta Clan in the first place.
And the *"theory"* is that the Kurta clan killed one of their friend. Specifically the Hunter that Kurapika saved back before he left the clan. As we know Kurta clan lives in hiding but then a Hunter found 2 of them completely by accident. In order to make sure their location stays hidden the Hunter was killed by the Kurta despite having no malicious intent towards them BUT the Spider learns about this so in retaliation they murdered and tortured all of the clan.
Again this is a theory for fun so take everything with a grab of salt.

This video mentions that Meteor City is likely located near Kakin. But shouldn't it be located on the Yorbia continent that Yorknew, United States of Saherta) is located on? Since NGL and all the other small nations were Chimera Ant arc take place is off the coast of Yorbian Continent and we didn't get any indication that the Ants spread past that continent, so Meteor City is likely located on that continent.

I think Hisoka would side with Kurapika than four prince due to the fact. Hisoka started the declaration of war against troupe. And Hisoka can give kurapika information about the troupe.
bigger question is, would Kurapika's Judgement chain work on Hisoka without him (Kurapika) dying due to the nen vow? Since Hisoka used to be a Troupe member (even though it was "fake").
@@dblim6 Hisoka not troupe anymore was a fake member l. Only sought out to fight Chrollo in a death battle. I don't think chain jail will work on Hisoka. That only use for troupe member only. But like see how Hisoka can break the flaw of kurapika nen ability. Hisoka known for finding counter measure of someone ability.

Honestly if it were a normal shounen i would go yeh makes sense since they love to connect every character of impotence or strength (usually in genetic relation) in an overarching plot and calling it great story telling essentially crafting the world to revolve around the main plot, while togashi crafts stories within a world ( a more realistic type of story telling) which at times intersect to create the main story. Which is why i enjoy hxh and scp so much. Due to how separated individuals stories are. So it is because of those style of writing i dont believe such a roundabout way of relation to 'neatly ' tie the story together exists.
You know really would life to se see the evodence for those other theories as they sound quite interesting.

that was my initial thought as well, but it doesn't work out -- just think about the times we've been shown the full world map with the dark continent and everything. the map shown in the video is miniscule compared to the full size of the planet that hunterxhunter takes place on, so they're pretty much as far away from each other as possible

Oito doesnt necessarily had to be taken straight from meteor city into marriage and being a queen/giving birth. It's more likely she was taken as a child and spent years training to be a queen. A king like Nasubi wouldn't sully his palace with an uneducated, unmannered girl from the slums. And, because of her origins, her family might as well have been exiled from Kakin, so they wouldn't have any claim or connection to royalty through her and, because of their destitute situation, ended up where everyone that has nothing ends up, Meteor City, perhaps Chrollo parents died on the way, died there or just sold him there.....Well, that would be one way to explain the theory.
Also, i don't think Nasubi is a character that would go to a poor family and negotiate with them for their child...I think he would just send his army to take anything, from things to people, if he saw something he wanted

The background in that photo of the king isn’t the same background from when he gave the speech. It’s much more likely that he just does that pose a lot than someone having done it in a day. Not impossible but more probable that he just poses like that frequently enough that there’s a painting or photo of him doing it already.

Idk which nen affinity it would land under but it feels like he puts a very difficult and specific set of rules and gets a crazy broken Hatsu.
