I just noticed that Tyler was embodying the metaphor that the grass is always greener on the other side, hence why he was in the grass and how even though it rained on him, snowed on him, etc. He still stayed green till the end. Kali in this video realizes that after the storm is where you see the beauty that comes after, hence why in the end she starts a family with Tyler and has two kids. Something beautiful for both of them after they weathered the storm and refused to give up

Through my alcoholism, my girl always stayed. She would put her makeup on while this was playing. While I would be stuck in bed hung over. Trying to gather myself to get ready as well.
