From an artistic standpoint, I love the video. I think the music is good as far as the overall matching of instrumentals with emotion and energy. As far as the lyricism, the writing is good. Maybe could've been a little better because some of the writing is generic and seems to speak to the everyman, which can be good and bad. It didn't really seem personalized. Either way, overall I enjoyed it and think it was good! It gives me inspiration for my writing. The only big drawback for me was the Auto-Tune.
I just think, do, & create what I feel. If it resonates with somebody, I’m happy and accomplished what I set out to. If it doesn’t resonate with certain people or if they don’t like it as much, as seems to be the case here for you, that is also okay. Art is simply supposed to evoke a feeling and it would seem that I’m on the right track with this one. You felt something, enough to comment, regardless of what said comment was. I wish you all the best this year and hope to see you at a future show.
