The year was 1968, for much of that year I was eleven years old young lad, probably in 7th or 8th grade; for some reason my parents had skipped primary education for me, so I had only begun from the 6th grade on in the year 1966, then 9 years old; probably the youngest in my class. I survived. The background scenery of an empty Karachi is still vivid in my mind's eye, for I was to live in a fast growing, expanding, and developing Karachi for only 6 more years; beyond that it was to be North America, i.e. Canada and then ultimately to the USA. Time flew by and here I am reliving my childhood listening to this lovely song; after all it was heard regularly as it would be playing on the radio; often I hummed along; keeping my sweet late mother amused. That past is long gone, but remains a lovely memory; so I frequent here regularly when I want to relive my buchpun. Cheers!
"Keeping my sweet late mother amused .That past is long gone " Bohat udas KR Dia in words nay ...bohat ziada ..waqt guzar jata hay or HM bohat duuuur ajatay Hain ..uffff
Mala has been my most favourite female singer and her duets with the great Rushdi are simply phenomenal. Waheed as usual is beyond comparison and Shabnam looks really attractive and sweet here. The song brings back my childhood memories.
WHAT A GOLDEN ERA OF PAK FILM INDUSTRY. PRICELESS ACTORS, MY SWEET MEMORIES OF THE PAST, WHEN I WAS A STUDENT OF 2ND YEAR IN I970, LISTENING THESE SONGS _I ALWAYS DRAGED MYSELF BACK WITH THE SAME YOUNG FEELING S AT THAT TIME. WAHEED MURAD & SHABNAM ROMANCE PERFORMANCE IN FILMS WILL BE NEVER FORGOTTEN. WHAT A LOVEABLE & WONDERFUL ACTOR & ACTRESS. (GOD BLESS THEM ALL. AAMIN.
Great singer, marvellous poetry, excellent music, legendary hero heroine, and nostalgic streets of Karachi all made this song an eternal masterpiece engraved in our hearts & minds, giving us listening pleasure for all times to come!!!
If this song is from 1968, then I was 7 years old. What a golden era not only of our film industry as well as of all other aspects. This time will never come back. I long for a time machine
Wheed sahab bohat talented actor tu thay but u can't say that India doesn't have any actor as Waheeds calibre Indian Industry bohat bady ha or is ka Stars bhee bohat hayn😊
This beautiful song, I am dedicating to my brother in law, ( Talha Hasan ) he is like a young Waheed Murad Naughty Boy enjoying his successful affair marriage.
