What is IL-2 Great Battles?
The new generation of IL-2 Sturmovik titles is developed by 1CGS and is a combat flight simulator of the World War II era and carries on the tradition created by the original IL-2 Sturmovik first released in 2001. Sturmovik recreates the aircraft, their use in the war and the environment they flew in. This latest product is a successor of the classic IL-2 Sturmovik that was a leader of the sim genre for more than 10 years. The new IL-2 is true to the ideas born by the first title with an accurate representation of aircraft and famous WWII battles.

There were two such pilots. Brutal way to go.
That's an impressive tally for air victories. Would love to see a Bf 110 or Il 2 series

@@Wolfpack345 In my own opinion, many Fans including me got personally and emotionally emerged, in your series about Yuri, the Soviet Union and the Battle of Moscow, and the spirit you created about the Great Patriotic war and such Simulation and Story. And because of that in my opinion, it was a little bit of a mistake to start this Fortress on the Volga Campaign and play on the German Side ""The enemy we all hated in the battle of Moscow"", just after finishing representing the Soviet Union in the Battle of Moscow and getting us involved into such a Fantastic Story, thus i believe that it is the reason why many Fans did not enjoy as much this Campaign as the others, it was a very rapid change from what we loved, from Yuri and his train Going to Stalingrad as a hero, dreaming on new battles and hardships, to the German Air force in Stalingrad...But thank you for all your efforts, you make my day better every time and give me hope when i see your videos. You are sometimes the reason why i open my computer or watch youtube. Thank you Wolfpack!

I want to do an IL-2 career as well. I am sure I will get around to it eventually.
@@Wolfpack345 I would very much like to see that. I think it would definitely be a challenge, as I believe historically that Il-2 squadrons had the highest attrition rate in the soviet air force, especially in the early years of the war as they were kind of sitting ducks without tail gunners. But it would be a funny series to see you wreck german fighters in a flying brick.

The fuel light comes on in 109 at 50L.
In the F-4, maybe others, that's good for about 15 minutes at 1.15 ATA. If you fish it back to .8 ATA you can stretch that a long way.

I really enjoyed this series. I was a little disappointed that you didn't do a wrap up at the end of the video. After all it was the conclusion of a 14 episode series. Nevertheless, it was quite enjoyable and I look forward to your next series!!! I hope there's another!

Great series and thank you for it. I'm looking forward to catching up with Yuri again, but this has been a sweet break... and it makes me appreciate both sides of the conflict and their machines.
I would like to see a D9 campaign in the West, or a Flying Jug.

What joystick or setup do you use? I want to get into sims and Black Friday is coming up so I wanted to get something basic (and cheap) for starters or even for good depending on the quality. If anybody else has some good suggestion I would appreciate them too thank you!
