What’s wrong with speaking English???? English is a worldwide spoken languages. You have to understand the Cambodian-American live 3/4 of their lifetime in the US speaking English. We are surrounded by English speaking people’s. Some of us have trouble trying to speak the mother language. Our brain can process but we can’t speak it out sometimes. Our education is in the English language, our jobs are in English so our communications 90% of the time are in English.
Most of the Khmer from the US go to visit Cambodia like to speak English instead KHMER why? why? why?
For me it takes me a day or two to speak full Khmer instead of mixing Khmer English.
I speak khmer most of the time. My khmer is pretty good. Am speaking english for youtube content. Cause the youtube channel is all english.
