Yes I live in Louisville ky and I have dropped people off in Ohio and got rides I have cut it on in Tennessee and got rides

I didn't have the same experience unless it's up to the miles because I drove a couple to Mobile from Baton Rouge and after dropping them off Lyft imformed me that I couldn't Lyft in Alabama without a state license so I dead headed all the way back to Louisiana before I could Lyft again.

As long you don't pick up people off the App/ Off the Books, you should be safe. If not, and you get caught just show the judge your Lyft bill-of-lady, most likely he/she will let off with a warning.
