Pete still works out and is a former safety. He’s in his 70’s and could kick any average person’s ass. Glad he’s my coach. Hell of a guy. He used to beat Russ and Matt Flynn in passing competitions in practice. Dude is a stud.

A 95 degree heat advisory? Man, I wish. It’s 105 degrees with almost 50% humidity today in my neck of the woods. Once had two-a-day’s full pad practices in 115 degree heat, where you could see the wavy Serengeti like heat lines in the distance. That, my friends, was a test of human resolve. Probably more dangerous than should’ve been allowed.
A significant portion of the homes in the Seattle area don't have AC, so that's probably the reason for the heat advisory. While temperatures that high in some areas is just business as usual, it can be pretty awful in the Pacific Northwest. Fortunately, there are usually only a handful of days like that a year. Summers in my computer room were basically a sweat box in the afternoon and early evening when I lived in the Seattle area, while my home in South Carolina is nice and comfy in the height of summer.

They did barely cover it which I found disappointing, but overall lately they’ve been taking about us more and giving props (especially since Russ left). I feel like Pat kinda changed his perception a little abaht Seattle after he was at the game last season.
