My new favorite basil is boxwood basil, forms a big mound of really small leaves on tender stems, very easy to make extra plants, have started cuttings in water and just by putting cuttings in dirt, I just snip into whatever I am cooking or easily pull the small leaves off. The main plant is huge now and have given several starts away.
Great minds! Just sowed 5 3gal buckets with herbs the other day. Mostly to see how germination would be in the heat we've been having, to use up some old seed, and if they do flourish, how many will over winter. TYFS Tina
