I've had K.K. Technopop on my radar to remix for a looooooooong time & I finally got around to finishing up this masterpiece!!

Hoo, yeah! Wow, what a wild change-up this is, and such a tight production overall! I really can't get enough of this remix, and it sort of tickles my ears and brain in a way that's hard to put into words... but I'll try!
First, _massive_ props to you for taking on what is likely one of the most challenging K.K. songs to remix. I say that because the original melody is so irregular and somewhat sparse, so the lack of tunefulness makes it hard to latch onto, melodically speaking, anyway. Most of what makes this song a standout, I feel, is in the bass, the percussive elements, and those awesome peripheral details, and I think you've boosted each of those aspects up to insane levels here!
The sound selection is, as always, phenomenal. I love how you've captured the essence of the original instrumentation, but with modern quality and loads of texture and interesting effects. That anchoring rhythm that occurs throughout is perfectly redone here, with constant changes in the instrument playing it, yet with perfect cohesion. It's light and unobtrusive, yet ever-present, and just adds such a fun and enigmatic groove to the song. Once of my favorite details in this remix is the use of those pitch-bending strings at 0:46 - that part is just too good, and the fact that it's a one-shot detail just adds to how special it is. It sounds _just_ like it does in the original, just cleaner and brighter!
Okay, the bass elements here are seriously some of your best. Ever. Like, holy wow, there's just an insane amount of detail work here, and after reading your response to Vector U's comment, it confirmed what I had initially thought, regarding what the bass sound design felt reminiscent of. It's awesome that people in our community constantly derive inspiration and motivation from each other, and I just can't help but smile when I see that happening in real time. :D I love how deftly you've incorporated these metallic-sounding growls, squelches, and screeches - like, it's all just too good! I don't even know how you, Vector U, Theølogy, SteelDragon8, and other remixers are able to bust out these complicated, yet smooth-as-heck sequences of bass sounds in your remixes, but I would love to learn sometime. Seriously, if any of you guys have tips or sources, I am super interested to learn! But I'm getting sidetracked again... 😅I also can't not comment on that amazing sub-bass, and it really just rounds everything out, while being perfectly mixed alongside the kick and the aforementioned bass elements - testament to your S-tier mixing abilities!
And geez, the percussive elements are maxed out here, too! They're amazingly dynamic, with new drums and percussion constantly brought in and out of the mix, yet the energy never relents. Each pattern and instrumentation fits the energy of the section perfectly, and the buildups are so hype - each one gets me inevitably excited for that signature Player2 fake-out drop. By this point, it's 100% a patented technique, and I love that you're always finding new ways to innovate with that - and with your music, in general, as clearly is the case here! Speaking of innovative details, the use of K.K. Slider's Animalese singing here is fantastic, and I'm guessing that you had to work out each syllable and pitch manually... regardless, it fits into the remix so well, and really makes that last segment extra-special! And dude, you even included those K.K. "mouth percussion" sounds into that last sequence! If that isn't an immaculate display of creative energy, I don't know what is! It sounds so cool in tandem with that shaker loop, as if it's a natural part of it. Truly, superb work all-around!
Also, as others have mentioned, the visuals here are super-cool, and a fun deviation from your signature video style. Those morphing circles match the theming of the original album artwork, and I really like that introductory visual sequence, as well - it's quite a mind trip! Oh, and I have to mention that it was neat to learn that this song played in your house in the CGN original, too! Surprisingly, my song of choice in that game was K.K. Ragtime. 😁 Once again, absolutely stellar work, my friend - keep it up! 🌟

Haha it's actually kinda fun taking an otherwise chill song and completely flipping it to something out of the ordinary; imagine if there was an Animal Crossing fighting game where all the animals just duke it out like a Street Fighter or Tekken LOL 😅
