hello man, thanks for the question! due to the lower buoncy in fresh water any duck dive done in swimming pool is much easier then in sea waters... if we want to be very efficient in sea waters it's better to simulate similar conditions removing weightbelt during the practice done in the swimming pool...i hope it is clear now! we wish you great trainings and safe dives!! :-)
Great video; thanks! His head position was not good and shouldn't be modeled as an example. It may be because he didn't want to hit the bottom of the pool but he was looking down, his head was not neutral, and that is a big mistake in duck dives if you want the efficient entry.

One very common isue with new divers is splashing fins on the surface, takes a bit of practice not leting them break the surface for silent diving
solution: add tons more weight!!! ;-)
