I like what you said about how somebody out there can rap, sing or dance but can they command or even want to make you watch. Blackpink member lisa. She is thai but came to south korea to be in a kpop girl group call: blackpink.
Lisa can speak 3 fluent languages and 2 more intermediate level. She is fluent in english, korean and thai.
She had to learn korean to be in the group. She speaks like a native american but never was once born there.
Blackpink is the current biggest gir group in the world base on how many fans they have. Bigger than any american group in america cause america don’t have many boy or girl groups. Not all but a lot of blackpink mv are in the 1 billions mv views count.
Some blinks keep saying that they're disappointed because "Lalisa" sounds just like any other Blackpink songs and the concept is so blackpink but little did they know tht that's the point "Lalisa" literally show off Lisa's true COLOR this song literally flexing that Lisa is the "Blackpink" itself, showing how she handled everything, nailed each and every concept all by herself, the meaning of this song is kinda similar to the song 1TYM by 1TYM (they know they're the best that's why they're dripping with confidence kinda songs)
with "Money" She brings back the real YG color, bp's producers Teddy and Danny are 1TYM member, YG's hip hop group it's clear that they want Lisa to show the true YG Blood that runs in her. no offense but no idol in this Kpop industry can top Lisa's flows and cadence when it comes to hip hop, can you think of anyone in Kpop industry who will be able to do cover of "money" with the same flows, cadence and not less? i don't understand people expect her to do some kpop meow meow songs when her range is beyond kpop comfort zone that would be such a waste and I'm so glad that Lisa chose HERSELF because that's the best that she could ever be.

She's like communicating all the time with her fans,.. just putting little personal things out there. And you see the look on their faces when thousands of fans are yelling "LISA"!!! It's a whole new level of popularity unheard of before the pandemic.

I have to say that it's the fact that they are "asian" girls that adds to the overall badassery. When I was in film school we had a Japanese student who filmed his Korean girlfriend getting mad at him and destroying their dorm room. It was the fact that it was a quiet looking, demure, asian girl who turned over furniture that made the added impact. You NEVER seen asian girls do this stuff. To see them being total commanding swaggy bosses is something you never never see. Girls from orient, India,... they are taught to only speak when spoken to, do what their parents tell them, look at the ground & be polite. THESE ARE NOT YOUR PARENTS ASIANS!!! .... and LOOK at the other asian dancers in this,... THEY ARE KILLING IT!!!! It's like they are geared for some kind of combat here. KILLIN US!!!!
