You two busy bee's just reminded me of lovely Stamford a blast from the past when I walked with horses from Shaftesbury to north of Nottingham ..some children couldn't beleave I done my washing in a tin bucket.they thought u had to have a washing machine...there minds were changed...Anythings possible...
Now that sounds like quite the adventure! Wish I could have joined you lol x I’ve done my washing in streams and all sorts out on the trail with some eco soap so I know where your coming from!! X

I am a full time carer for my mum who is house bound, all i do is go shopping and look after the house and i know it sounds dumb but when i watch your hiking videos it feels that i am with you looking a the stunning views and what you have for your next videos i am so looking forward to watching them, and if i saw you in a pub the gin is on me, stay safe sweetheart

It was like listing to a mini you #seperatedatbirth lol. Did I hear DURHAM? That's only 10 miles away from us and if I had known we would have come and seen you :o( . Having said that me and Mrs Metalman had to come back from out Scotland holiday 2 days early, after both catching the colds from Hell, so being ill for over 8 days now but on the mend. Just as well your sense of smell had not returned after walking passed the pig farm and it the 42 years I have known Mrs Metalman she has only ever had one wild wee lol! Where ever we going the first thing we always look for is a Weatherspoon's but Stamford did look very mind mind and worth a look about, cheers Alan

It's a long way from Lancashire for me but I have a bit of a sentimental attachment to that area Kerry. Especially Helpston as my favourite poet, John Clare, was born and is buried there. hi ladies, great video and trail, im doing my 2nd cycle trail it the national cycle route 8 starts at holyhead then all the way to cardiff total of 243 miles going to be a awesome week im not going to rush it as there some fantastic scenery on the way
Hi Kerry , The Torpedo Way looked really nice .After watching your video I googled The Torpedo Way and what an interesting and historical area it is Norman's Saxons Romans and more thanks for the video . Went up to Bloworth crossing the other day and it lived up to its name gale force winds I could hardly stand up !!!

Hello again. I love doing short walks these days and cooking out. I have several walks near to where i live but the longest one is called the LADIES WALK. It is a high ridge and has tall trees either side so well shaded in the hot summer sun. So beautiful to go there early morning to watch the sun rise and hear the dawn chorus and to see the sunset in the evenings.. Regards Mick from Hampshire.. Xx
Sometimes shorter hikes are just what's needed! This looks like an awesome route! We've just managed to do a shorter two day hike of the Windrush and Wardens Way in the Cotswolds!

Cracking vid as ever :) Hope you enjoyed it in Durham, my home county, we have some beautiful walking country up here too, Weardale and Teesdale are spectacular :) I've also camped at Pendle Hill... many many years ago, before Most Haunted made it famous lol... I have a little bit on my website at the Witch Trials, the actual confessions themselves as recorded at the time... its a really sad story in truth, two families accusing each other of witchcraft and the main witness being the small child (probably only 9 at the time) of one of those families (Jennet device)... a world gone mad, thank f*** we don't live in that kind of world today :) Also which battlefield are you visiting at Bosworth? Archaeologists actually discovered that the place where people thought the battle was fought is wrong and about ten years back now they found it was elsewhere! anyway have a great time at Pendle and Bosworth :)
I watched the documentary about the witch trials on prime it was sad for sure! Imagine your own kid grassing you up! That’s why I’m not having any 😜 yeah we gigged at Durham university freshers party on Tuesday eve it was fun!
