兵長が加勢に入るだけで見る者に圧倒的な安心感。
これは名場面。リヴァイ兵長がカッコいいのも勿論だけど、エレンが連れ去られた後のミカサの表情が悲壮から怒気になる場面も好き
やっぱ兵長を前にするとミカサもまだ甘いなーってなっちゃうけど、兵長が猪突猛進なミカサをカバーするとこが最高に好き
わかる。
正直、チビとか言っちゃいかんレベルで助けてくれてる兵長

ぶっちゃけ色んな要因があると思うけどね、巨人化も2回目だし散々走ってリヴァイ班やエレンとも戦って消耗してるかもってのと、エレンを奪われないように立ち回ってるのと、なによりミカサは同じ訓練兵だから本気で殺しにいけなかったのかも

兵長が別格なのは間違えないけど、数人の小隊で一個旅団並と言われてる兵長に迫るよ連携をやってるリヴァイ班も頭おかしいよ。硬質化さえなければうなじ削げるとこまでいってたし、雷槍がないこの時点で硬質化はほぼ無敵の能力だからどうしようもないし。
リヴァイ班の連携がリヴァイ並の力になるくらい洗練されていて鬼滅のよりいちゼロしきみたいなものか、、

As much as I was REALLY mad at Annie for killing Petra, I couldn't help but to feel sorry for her. I've not read the manga but seeing how this character, who initially tried to mask her emotions, gradually showed some human feelings, then got torn between siding with the titans or humans leading her to where she is, broke my heart dearly :'/
Thank you so much for saying this! Annie is probably my second favorite character (1st being Armin) and seeing so much hate against her really ticks me off. People are defending Reiner and Bertholdt while they hate on Annie so hard even after it was proven she was the last person who wanted to kill but felt obligated to, after all Reiner had pressured her into killing Marco. Annie shed tears for him and both the anime and manga show that she showed and felt remorse for the deaths that were caused.
Caitlin G. you're welcome! :) this show's so complicated, first you see some oh-so-hate-able characters, then uber tragic flashback of their pasts happen & you can no longer decide who to hate. Just as I was initially so mad at Annie for sinking my ship (LeviXPetra lol) but thinking bout it she prolly didn't wanna kill the quartet but left with no choice with her life on stake
Add the fact that she's always been trying to please her father, and this is just reconnecting to that fact. She's failed, so she's failed her father.

In the anime, if your watch episode 21, the preview was narrating the "Watch next episode as Levi and Mikasa team up to fight the female titan." Yeah right, it was Levi showing scrubs how titan butchering is done and Mikasa spectating being like "yeah, yeah il take note of that." (Mikasa is still a badass though)

Given what is known now, it isn't surprising. Both Mikasa and Levi are abnormal humans.
Levi may appear cold on the surface but if you look closely, you can see that he does care deeply for all of his subordinates, even Eren and Mikasa. I think that something might have happened to him in his past for him to kill his emotions.
According to the databook he does care about Eren and Mikasa (very concerned about them is what it said). He's just very experienced, been in the scouting legion for years. We already know it has a very high mortality rate, so it's safe to say he probably lost many friends and squads that he can't let it affect his duties.
Levi's got a new squad in the manga consisting of Eren, Mikasa, Jean, Armin, Connie, Sasha, and Christa. I hope it turns out better for them, but I won't get my hopes up. Seems like getting into Levi's squad is a death sentence :(

nope Actually, to correct that Levi entered the military year 844, a year before Wall Maria collapsed and within that period he's already gained his title as Humanity's Strongest. So he's only been part of the military for a little over a year. In the side manga: A choice with no regrets, you could actually see a softer side of Levi with his old friends ♥
You should read Shingeki no Kyojin Gaiden, it's Levi's backstory about how he joins the survey corps and all that.

well, if you look in the wikia article, it says that Kenny was Kuchel's brother, which makes Kenny Levi's uncle. We aren't 100% how Levi and Kenny are related to Mikasa and her father, but it;s probably an important part of the plot, so we will find out soon enough in the manga.

Doesn't Levi's actions towards Mikasa makes so much sense now? Ever since Levi found out they had the same surname, he's given advice to her, their relationship became more trustworthy (platonic!). Levi even saved her twice, you know?

Why Levi is so fast and strong? a friend of mine told one day that possibility Levi could be a Titan! He also said that people who can transform into titans can't age! and Isayama said on interview that Levi's age is "surprisingly old" and my point is - maybe Levi's age isn't 30/35....maybe he's more than 80 years old!! Ymir said on Manga when Eren and her were kidnapped by Reiner and Bertholdt that 60 years happen this and that (I don't remember, sorry) it means, Ymir age is surprisingly old too!! maybe Mikasa could be a titan too who knows (?) I got the feeling that Eren's father is behind of all this!! Dr. Yeager give Eren some weird shit medicine to Eren to transform into titan to save Mikasa and Armin. There IS a theory on how Levi and Mikasa were actually test subjects to become titans. However the experiment failed Levi managed to escape, I don't know about Mikasa, but what really hits me is when Eren said fight in such loud and aggressive tones, maybe that triggered Mikasa's mind into her superhuman form, the bolts of electricity flashed around her like a titan shifter. That's really all I have I don't remember the rest :p
