Those numbers convince me that we had the best days during the 70s and 80s - those views of a camped town show how bad this whole exped thing has got. Sad that these people never saw the mountains ‘in the raw’….. I wouldn’t bother now.
@@AdventureBasecamphq There are some awesome mountains out there that never get a mention - tragically folk seem hell-bent on paying fortunes to go for the 8,000ers for some crazy idea that it actually means something now. If you want big mountains, peace, empty base camps, real climbers to be with doing climbing (as opposed to guiding) just look at the 7,900m peaks…..they really are something. I guess I was born to late for that. But I also guess that there's still raw stuff out there. Maybe I'll go and find out on an next adventure.

Man...it looks beautiful there. I am doing the Annapurna Circuit in December. Maybe I should do the Manaslu Circuit instead.
Maybe you should, less crowded but just as spectacular if you like remote.
