    Hi Bunnies!
    I am back with my surgery Vlog part 2 for you guys today, first of all thank you all so much for your words of encouragement and also sweet comments about my surgery, I truly appreciate it.
    I know some of you probably still have tough time accepting my decision but this is me now and I'm very happy so I hope you guys can respect and accept my decision.
    Comments like "you look better before, I still prefer you before" won't be much of a help now because I already did it and there is no way I can go back to my old face. Please before some of you write comments like this or other hurtful ones try sit back and think if you were in my position.
    I know this video is forever going to stick with me and be labeled as "that korean girl who did plastic surgery Vlog on youtube", I'm doing this to help and educate people, so it is worth it. As long as this video is helpful for others I did the right thing.
    Thank you!
    xx
    Sunny

    "The doctor says I'm prettier now."
    That broke my heart to hear. I understand what was meant by that statement, that she looked pretty (as well) with the plastic surgery, but she looked very pretty before too.

    "square face turned into beautiful face", that is honestly unappealing. so if you have a square face, you aren't beautiful? I feel like if they are going to do plastic surgery, they should put better words into their displays instead of using discouraging words.

    • @naweroada889

      i think because majority in korea didn't want squared face. but, western countries like America do love squared faces like Angelina Jolie, Demi Moore, etc.. even american models, majority of them had a squared face. i must say beauty really is subjective.

      +Ilana Dunnet because you want to look like a white person? your going to pay someone to shave your chin and cut your eye lids so you can look like a pointy chinned white person? seriously... what is the point...?

      +Ilana Dunnet olivia wilde is white and has a square jaw. it's not an ethnic thing, they simply desire slimmer faces because it is more feminine and korean women want to look feminine.

    This is really sad. You were an absolutely beautiful girl before surgery and didn't need it at all. Of course you're an adult and are free to make such decisions, but I just grow increasingly disturbed as more and more women flock to South Korea to "perfect themselves". Plastic surgery shouldn't be normalized or glorified because it makes people believe that they are not good enough, that they are flawed in x, y, z ways. Let's get double eyelids, slimmer jawline, taller nose, and fuller lips...everyone wants the same thing. Everyone also ends up looking like one another. Like plastic products.
    I'm not here to say that you now look like all the other women who have had plastic surgery in South Korea. You still look very cute and beautiful and you seem like a very sweet person. I definitely don't want to hurt your feelings in any way and recognize that it took a lot of courage to document and share such an experience. Nonetheless, my personal belief is that plastic surgery is rapidly spinning out of control, taking human beings with it in the wrong direction.

  • @akaededeval374
    @akaededeval374 8 ปีที่แล้ว +21

    her face appears slimmer before the surgery, after it just looks more round like they toke off some chin, she is beautiful both ways anyway and the eyes looks bigger before the eyelids doesn't make them appear bigger at the end I don't understand going through all that disconfort and pain for such imperceptible changes

For me, I'm an asian mix kid, so I'm naturally have double eyelids, but I actually like people with monolids more, because they look so cute. u know, plastic surgery will only make people look plastic, it unpleasant to see.people just need to be theirself, natural is the best.

    Though I won't go crazy about plastic surgery, but I totally understand how it can change a person' personality and boast the confidence. I fixed my front teeth seven years ago and did my eyes six years ago. Afterwards, I became so much better about myself and became more popular among guys. I will go any further than this. I am very happy with what I look like now, though I still have a kinda chubby face. I keep improving my inner self, which I think is more long lasting than a pretty face. I never wanted a 100 face. I am happy with my 80 face and I do believe a major part of personal charm comes from the intelligence, a heart with sympathy and care. :)

    I just noticed that your doctor reshaped your lower jaw as well, cutting back on the lower border and, together with the reduction of your zygomatic arches, making your face less square and more graceful. I cannot get over the minimal trauma you experienced and the speed of your healing. It's little wonder you experienced some temporary numbness of your lips and lower face - so much work was done in the area of your facial nerves, yet they were barely traumatized. I remain amazed.

    Wow! This is not meant badly it's just that I investigated about the jaw-line surgery and it's a VERY complicated one. Surgeons in the West try to avoid it at all costs because it's a difficult one and the secondary effects can be horrible for the patient. It doesn't really have to be a negligence, as it is very aggresive some people develop problems in their jaw and cannot chew properly. So they recommend it only in extreme cases.
    I'm really glad it went well for you. You look very pretty :)

But i'm hopeful about you being super happy about your results. We all have small flaws we would like to change. To be brave enough to go through with the process takes a lot. I think you look great! Definitely can see your happiness. I'm unhappy with my nose and have been searching for years for the right doctor. I wish you could afford to get this kind of treatment here in the US. it is true that a lot of foreigners go to korea for surgery. but its mostly asian foreigners (japanese, chinese...). tbh i would not recommend it to a white person because the doctors there are used to work with asian feature. and a nose job is rather basic, not the dramatic change korea is famous for so i cant really understand why you would want to go to korea for that

    • @takahash12
      @takahash12 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Roxyhun it's not like I just randomly picked koreaXD it's cuz i might move to korea so it would be simple since I would already be there
      i would never travel that far for just a small nose job

    • @mirna032xXx
      @mirna032xXx 9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      +Jossan Lulu (Zelipop) i agree with Roxyhun. The foreigners that go there for surgeries are asians, not whites, or other races. So i would advise you to get yours done in your country itself. Like i'm thinking of getting a nose job done next year in Chicago. As i'm brown skin indian, i'll go for an indian or pakistani doctor in chicago, cause they'll probably know more about us indians' features and skin type and all...

      IKR. I've read that this jaw surgery is one of the most dangerous surgeries ever invented (death is a possibility.) They break the bone, thus making it smaller. Why would you sacrifice your health THAT much just for beauty? It just bewilders me. :o

    I have never understood plastic surgery. Why can't people be satisfied with their natural appearance? Beauty is just getting more and more prioritised and valued today than years ago. In my opinion she was absolutely beautiful before. Now she looks dull and ordinary. In western countries we hardly ever hear about surgery and there are very limited surgery clinics. Over in Australia, when you hear that someone's had surgery, it's a huge shock and adjustment.. I know for a fact that the guys at my school are attracted to the authentic asian beauty,not the overrated doll-looking face most Koreans/Japanese are so crazy about.
    Love from Australia, down under m8 :)

    I understand what she feels, and why she did. You know, if you study media as i do, they tell you looks are the most important. So that's why girls want to look a little better, all over the world. i have been told im to ugly and boring to be in front of the camera. So if you don't overdo it you wont regret it. Some fixes sometimes are ok.

    I love all types of beauty. That said, I prefer some types over others, just like everyone. V-lines, I have no problem with, it is pretty but I do prefer a jaw there (on men and women). For some reason square jaws just... I rly rly love square jaws *-* like I RLY love square jaws x'D that's why to me her jaw looks better before. BUT the rest of her face is as pretty before as it is after so, I don't rly mind.

    Sunny, I find you brave by uploading your whole surgery process. However, one very important thing I noticed is your teeth. Take a look at your before & after x-ray photos. Notice how the surgery changed your teeth's position. Your upper molars should not sit parallel on your lower molars. Each molar should sit in between two lower molars. Plus, your upper teeth stand forward to your lower ones. I would really suggest you go see an orthodontist. I am wearing braces to get rid of the unhealthy position of my teeth, and don't think you are happy about spending another few thousand dollars on braces.

    are docfinder and enbanobagi the same company? They seem like a great resource to use for foreigners like me - I know it's not free though and I probably wouldn't mind paying if I were to get this kind of service either - if I were to ever get surgery anyway. This video is very cool

    Oh my god. That x-ray picture looks super scary. They shaved off so much bone... It's extreme. I'd be really worried about the strength of them now. Seems to me like even a stronger slap could break all of it.

    i dont think plastic surgery is bad at all honestly!! especially with what minor stuff she did. if it makes u more confident and comfy, and you are only doing it because u want to, its not bad
    if someone else wants u to or something like that, its uh,, no good but!! like i said, its up to u
    i personally plan on getting a nose job when im older, because ive always hated my nose

      *****
      For the record, the doctor said she looks prettier which meant "You were pretty but even prettier now". He did not say "Oh you were ugly but you are pretty now." I see nothing wrong with people changing what they are insecure about. You only live once. No one in this video encourages people to go and have surgery because they are ugly. You need to chill out.

    • @kreizix
      @kreizix 9 ปีที่แล้ว +19

      I thought about that too but maybe he meant by "prettier" is that her face was swollen after the surgery and now that it healed "it looks prettier"?. But then again, Korean people are really straight forward, and would confidently say things like "oh, you gained weight" and such.

      +Detective Kittens It's a plastic surgeon, not a GP. Their goal is to make you prettier god damn.

    • @mslolsaur
      @mslolsaur 9 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      +Detective Kittens im 2 years away from starting plastic surgery residency and i just wanted to say gees chill its just a comment xD
      at least in my country the subspecialty is called plastic and reconstructive surgery, surgeons can choose to go either aesthetic or reconstructive
      dr lee got paid to her prettier so don't you think the comment fits? as others have pointed out before its not you were horrible before and now youre pretty, he simply said she looked prettier
      i get that you're trying to do a social commentary here but the examples you put fit into aethetic plastic surgery too: breast implants are not only for women who had mastectomy due to cancer, rhinoplasty is not only for people who broke their noses due to trauma
      if you don't like it then tough luck but many people choose to get these procedures because their self esteem ties in with their outside appearance. sure, its not the healthiest but its their choice, and if you feel it makes you insecure then whose problem is that? people are entitled to choice and if someone chooses to get a procedure done then they have the right to get surgeons who are qualified to do it plus health standards and proper patient care
      some people just will never be happy about their appearance and its much better that they get their procedures done by an actual md in an actual clinic rather than in some shady place where they can get infections or oil etc as fillers, as im sure youve seen in the news
      anyway, peace out, just defending my career choice here
