I have to say I smiled when you mentioned a relaxing stitch on 40 count - I wouldn't be able to see the holes so nothing relaxing about that for me! Haha thank you Susan! The pattern was mainly what I meant as "relaxing" although the 40 count is more relaxing than the 56 count that I'm also working on. Still, that looks like child's play compared to the Italian 82 count sampler...! :D

Hi Jacob! Everything is so beautiful as always! I would be so grateful to you for charting the Armenian sampler. My older son is Armenian, and I am working on the lovey Armenian chart from Avlea in hopes of getting it done for Remembrance Day. Trystin, my son, has always loved to learn about his family that survived the genocide. He is always excited to have pieces that represent his heritage. Thank you for everything!

That's great to hear - thank you! The Debussy one is such a lovely quick stitch - especially since you've got the Agnus Dei on! It's weird though, but once I really sat down with that one it went quite fast - it's a very meditative piece to stitch.

Your work is wonderful. I appreciate your dedication to saving and sharing the work of those who came before in your reproduction charts. I think that is a lovely Token of affection. That Italian Hankie SAL is very tempting but I simply cannot take on another project now. I have so many I am feeling overwhelmed and have spent the best part of the last half of last year and this year to date in trying to finish things. But I am definitely putting it on my want to do list.

The Coats / MEZ (it's sold under both names apparently) is fantastic. I'm working on two projects right now with it and it just works so lovely - especially on higher count linens. Haven't tried with 2 strands yet but I'm sure that looks great as well! :D
Not sure how you managed to keep a straight face singing your “ballade d’ amour” for Ellen. But on a serious note your musical number was both melodic and charming! And your French is quite good too! You are certainly a man of many talents. Would love to win the Token book. Art history intrigues me....what a great way to learn more about the history of Celtic cross stitch samplers.
