@TheMercianMetalDetecting it's definitely not easy mate. It tuck me 3 years to get to 1k and then 3 days after posting the video about finding that watch I think someone at youtube thought it was worth pushing and boom almost 3k subscribers in 4 weeks. It's completely nuts how it works out. But there are ways to work it in your favour like posting at the time each week, getting your watch time up and getting people to like and comment. Keep at it dude you'll get there. And you're right best thing is the friends you gain along the way
I haven't used it myself. I did start with the Ace 250 it was a good starting machine back in its day but for a little more I'll probably look at the minelab vanquish or even a second hand garrett ace apex
You know when we had paper money for the lager amounts ie ten shillings, one, five, ten, twenty, fifty pound notes everyone carried a wallet or a purse and you never found money like you are. I think when we had pounds, shillings and pence we appreciated money more then. My goodness l can’t recall either of my parents loosing any notes when l was growing up we never had a lot an ever shilling was going accounted for and we would of had to go without.
There was still plenty of people that wasn't so careful I find loads of older coins mainly penny's and haft penny's but offen get silver sixpences as well.
@austynshaw9142 all my coins I put in a tumbler with dish soap for about half an hour. I'm with natwest they use a machine you just dump everything in at once and it still takes the old pound coins. You could always try a coin star machine some of the bigger supermarkets have them.
Yeah I'll try and to it I've got a few in the pipeline. But I'll have have so time coming up in the hopefully not too distant future when I have to say in and rest so that would probably be an ideal opportunity.
