Watch em in fargos second season they are a bumbling but good hearted couple who just keep ending up in dark situations..they have really good chemistry
I googled the sunglasses after watching Civil War and this could be kinda a spoiler if you're going to watch it. And I don't if it's true. But this is from the IMDB page of the movie: "In his sole scene, Jesse Plemons is wearing grading glasses, which are designed to eliminate all visible wavelengths entering the eyes except for red, at different shades or luminance values. This makes it very easy to tell if an object (or skin tone, in his case) is darker or lighter than another at a glance."
@@helenomstreken7577 Yeah. I googled it because it was so out of place and odd on the face of a homicidal racist *ist lunatic. I thought it must mean something.
I TOTALLY AGREE WITH JESSE'S GRANDMA, KEEP UP THE YOUR AWESOME SHOW SETH MYERS!! JESSE IS VERY HANDSOME AND SUCH AN AWESOME ACTOR!! HIM AND HIS WIFE KRISTEN BEAUTIFUL COUPLE. 😊💓🤘✌️
Jesse was always sexy and amazing. He just looks like a new kind of sexy and amazing. When I saw him in Civil War, my blood ran cold, but in a good way because I knew we were in for a performance.
I wonder if the glasses are a nod to the vietnam soldiers who used night vision with red lenses and who claimed to see demons...his character similar in that he too is a soldier deteriorating mentally, seeing "demons" that may not be present
I always thought the most realistic portrayal of a current day Civil War was Euel Arden’s novel, Down Here in the Warmth. Great book. How can you go wrong with Militia on the streets of Manhattan.
He's been this thin a good 9-12 months now. When you see the photo from Civil War that Seth holds up, and realize that there is usually a good year+ between the time a film is shot and its release (more than 2 months ago) and that Jesse wasn't much heavier in the photo than he is now.
One of Hollywood's current greatest character actors! I hope he gets more leading roles, I'm not sure I'd like to get pigeonholed playing the scum of the earth for the rest of my life, even if he is incredible at it
Pretty sure Garland's film is based on Fallout 4. Plemons here, sunglasses and all, is a raider. The military, and all their lovely kit, are the Brotherhood. That's about as much depth I got from the film.
He will always be Meth Damon to me .
Agree with Seth about Civil War being one of my favourite movies of the year.
incredible film, spectacular and harrowing in equal measures
the movie was trash

I forgot he was married to Kristin Dunst, what an awesome combo. They both seem like great people
yes, they seem very grounded and normal

I have these glasses and the thing is when you wear em obviously you only see red, but actual red objects become sort of invisible

Todd underrated villain
4:42 It's called a "battlefield pickup." And whoever owned them before no longer needs them.
Exactly what I was thinking. He killed someone and took them as a trophy, probably had a bunch of different items from people in that pit
Woah, he looks so different with the weight loss, didn't expect that - good for him (and Kirsten) 😊
Grandma Plemons is absolutely a jackal
Anyone else get a Phillip Seymour Hoffman legacy vibe with him?
Why? Cuz he was in The Master and starred in a Charlie Kaufman movie?
@@lesryglrhfohserno because like PSH he’s got great range (from vulnerable to menacing) and he makes good choices performance & career wise
Jesse is a really good actor, but PSH is one of the all-time greats. I'm not quite ready to call them comparable
@@DanFlashes99 I don't think the original commenter is suggesting he is at PSH''s level now but following in his path
Nope. Both talented actors but hard no.
Very gifted actor, extremely lucky man, seems like a nice dude.
He’s incredible. Sky’s the limit for that guy.
He looks great and fit again👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

We love jesse plemons and seth meyers
With the glasses, all he sees is red.
"i guess you can say that" - lol he's cool with it.
He's so nice!
He looks like a completely different guy from his roles in Kinds of Kindness

I think he'd make a terrific Wolverine
Or Sabertooth
Would Jesse Plemons be a good Joker? I think Jesse Plemons would be a good Joker.

Looks like Landry again!
IRL Jesse seems like a conceptual guy. I'd love to have some conversations with that guy. Never saw that in his work. My mistake.
Jesse Plemons was the original drummer kid in Whiplash before they recast him.
No he wasn’t
Is Jesse Plemons aging backwards?? It's not fair!!!
Random sunglasses.
People Magazine 's Sexiest man Alive 2024 tied for first place.... Seth and Jesse Plemons!!
He gorgeous
those are color correction glasses though, right?
So, what kind of American are you? " I'm from Hong Kong". "Bang! That's China" . I love it.
Feels like you love it maybe a bit too much there lol
Jesse please gimmie sum lemons
Love
Looks like he found Ozempic
You didnt think Corrections would win??? Where is the faith Seth?!
Friday Night Lights seems like ages ago

Study
Have Plemons and Dunst moved to the front of the line when it comes to celeb couples?
He looks like his own son lol
Kinda surprised that a star would go shopping for a range of accessories for the character rather than the costume department…
Another celebrity Ozempic success story? Now they should reshoot El Camino to fix “fat Todd” 😄
Actually he’s said it was intermittent fasting. I imagine the wealth that allows for a personal trainer probably helped, too.
It’s not just celebrities. I’ve lost 35lbs so far on it 👍
He lost all that weight, good for him.
He was great in civil war even he’s only in 1 scene. I hated his character
I thought the glasses fit.
His scene is the only good part in the entire movie the rest is utter horse manure
agreed.
Not the first comment .. do you care?! I PRAY YOU DON'T!
