Yoru is broken at low elo if u jst know how to use his to cus ppl in low elo haven't unlocked sound yet
Tip for all Yoru mains: If you have a weak gun and you killed a enemy u have to ult to get the enemy's gun at his body but don't throw ur gun before the ult. You can actually throw your gun in your ult by Pressing 1 + G
In my experience it doesnt even have to be fast, just press 1 and press g when you want to drop it

rob quick question do you consider yoru a dualist? I think he's role is kinda unique in the sense of initiating but also a baiter so your team can have space (i know that's the definition of a duelist) I think he's diff
I think he definitely feels a little more initiator heavy compared to other duelist *but* he also doesn’t really have any info gathering abilities (other than ult) so I can see why he’s not considered one. I think Kayo/Chamber are more of a duelist than Yoru lol
Ofc he’s a duelist, his kit allows him to actually engage enemies and make the space for his team. I just don’t see that with chamber. Chamber is a lurk agent

Duelist and intiatior in my opinion are very similar, they both entry and try to create space. Only that Duelists are better built for taking duels.

Rob's my favourite Yoru main, I love red eso egg and zip too but Rob has taught me the most overall. Much love Rob I love your videos, I'm not sure how your videos haven't gotten pushed out more, they really should be, the quality and attention to detail in maintaining the viewer's watch time is great. either way, as long as you stick with it I'm sure you'll get even bigger than you already are. I was trying to convince my brother to be a Fade as Blake is for you and showing him how cool his lineups are, you guys are such a cool duo it's so inspiring lol. 🦔❄

Hey rob, could you do a vid like "What enemies see when you play yoru", like show what the enemies see and hear when u ult/tp. I think this would be helpful because when I started yoru, I just got out of ult right next to people, because I thought they couldn't see me at all. thanks.
They can hear you get out of it
you can only do that when enemy got ult by fade
Both tp and ult out is extremely loud, if the enemy listens they can hear it from the other side of the map lol.

@@thephenomenalch650 I guess it's only fair. TPing without making a noise would be very unbalanced and right now you can cover the sound with Breach or Fade ult etc which makes for more interesting teamplay imo.

Yoru has now become an all rounder, aside from smokes or flank protection of course. Can entry, lurk, send info with ult, good retake agent, amazing for stalling and can now distract a 5 man in site holding angles with ult and blind. Just amazing bro
dude i always use the tp u showed in first clip and it works most of the times . sometimes i try a different one and or tell my teammates to smoke my tp. honestly its a great tp
dang my yoru and your yoru is so diffrent. i play yoru so passively. sometimes i became aggressive if they make the same mistake twice but often i play super defensive. even when im attacking. after i entry plant the spike wait for a couple of second then send my tp to main and hold angle on ct. kill one and tp back to main play time. and so far i had a ton of success playing my way of yoru.
I really appreciate those more detailed tips you're giving at the start of each video now. I already feel like I've learned a lot more about how to use Yoru util just by watching you but getting a general description of common uses or scenarios helps immensely in remembering more easily where I can apply what I've recently seen.

honestly don't be afraid to make plays like that, of course just don't do the same thing too often. if you die instantly then whatever just bounce back next round, but if you pull it off thats a huge mental boost and of course a sexy clip

I do this 80% of time now and when ulting too, i send tp to spawn...so after getting one kill, I tp and flank the rotation.

I play valorant in esports, i got yoru and immediately knew he would be my main
Thanks for the tip, I always play bad as yoru on attack as I don't exactly know how to surprise the enemy (I usually send my tp early to a different site which we are not attacking, somehow people always camp it despite us pushing super hard into the site so I dies when I try to flank, I guess this also makes the enemy 1 player down, but well i would rather not die!)

I moved from smokes to Yoru cuz i Genuinly enjoyed him. One of the main things I’m lacking is confidence. When I’m on unrated I’m going chaotic, tp everywhere murdering people. On ranked I just feel a lot more pressure? And I perform so much more worse than smokes. For reference I main viper and omen smokes

Knowing my luck, my opponents would bait a teammate and stack the TP.
about the flank TP in the start, imo, only TP when you have advantage on number of ppl alive or they push aggressively with fade, breach, brim ult or sth
because you are holding site with ur teammates, then u suddenly dip out and leave them like that they would lost the vision and control zone that u left behind
if u know what i mean
It's better to suddenly dip out then die imo. The best play is pushing aggressively to initiate then fall back to watch flank. The enemy often doesn't know where u tpd so the vacuum you leave isn't retaken immediately. Of course it helps if your team is aware that this is what u do.
hey rob did you know that you can throw your gun in ult? While in ur ult just press ur weapon button and yeet your gun :P i tested it in custom and it works

there is one lineup from a lobby which goes straight to def spawn
You have to peek a long for it to work though so it’s better to just entry for your team at that point and then send the tp spawn

U know yoru is really good with fade cause they cant hear ur TP or ult out of they are under fade ult. In the vid there is 2 or 3 times where u could just ult behind the vision of guy who got fade ult and just kill him, and instead u try random flash. Fade and yoru is broken af bro use it

Im gold 3 now and i main yoru. I do almost always place a tp to enemy spawn when site is already cleared just for cutting off flankers. Team gets mad at me though becuase im not holding site
