I have an ATS 2.0 of my own. just be careful with your rear differential around 80-90k miles! I had to find out the hard way that it’s a recurring problem with this model for the differential to start having problems at a later age.
@@kingkb136 they are great cars and as long as you take care of them and stay up to date on your maintenance then you’ll have many years of trouble free motoring! If you buy a 2.0t ats the best thing you can do is add a catch can and run Mobil one 5w30 Emission systems protection. Also a ptp turbo blanket and GFB DV+ will make you very happy!

If you wanna hear your turbo more I’d for sure get a silicone intake pipe and a k&n drop in filter! If you REALLY wanna hear the turbo. There are few decent cold air intakes. I have ZZP CAI on my car. Oh, change your oil every 5k miles!

Subscribed, I'm trying to build my own manifold and run a 257sxe. Any tips? Have you had this at the track? edit: just saw the vid of you making the manifold, top notch.
@@GibspeedAuto I don't have IG :(. I'm planning on just doing a log manifold to keep it simple at first..did you have the flange made or did you fab it yourself? I made my own and it was more difficult than the manifold itself. Would love it if I could just order a flange from somewhere. Probably going to build a tubular one next.
@@Hooviebuilt Funny i use to DREAM of owning a cobalt cause i use to drive a regular cobalt which is actually pretty quick if you know how to drive but once i bought a 2018 cadillac ats 2.0T i completely forgot about the cobalt SS. I looked up specs on the cars to compare them. This car is almost 2 seconds FASTER from 0-60 :)
I own the same car just a newer version. The car WILL eat gas like a V8 if you drive it hard or it can get amazing gas milage probably easily 30 MPG if you drive it easy on the freeway. :) This is by far the FUNNIEST car i've ever driven in my life. I already got a ticket for doing 121 MPH. Car tops out at 189 MPH. LOL

Am I reading the RPMs right that it cruises at 4k before you WOT? Did you tune the car this way?
It’s a 2.0L that likes to rev and had a fairly big turbo on this setup, so yes 4500-7800 was peak power band.
What turbo did you go with? ZFR? If so which one? I just bought the Z54 bc the Z57 is on backorder
Nah, check out my other videos. I make full turbo kits for Vband housing turbos. The one on my personal car in the video is a Borg Warner S257 SXE.
