So glad to see you looking better and feeling better. I am a stroke survivor so I can definitely empathise with your feelings of exhaustion! It's an exhaustion difficult to explain. It's beyond tiredness. It's something that envelops your whole body. I totally understand when you feel better you want to do more and then before you know it you've over done it!! I now have a different approach. I work for an hour then take a small break. This gives me the opportunity to "listen" to my body to see if I should carry on or take more rest. Regarding your injections it's mind over matter I'm afraid. Try thinking of it being your friend rather than enemy......it's giving you such a better lifestyle. You are a very brave young lady to share your experience and I am sure you can inspire others to never give up when things get you down. Keep smiling my lovely - Lin xx
I'm so pleased you're starting to feel better. I know it's quite a bumpy road when trying to recover and the tiredness is often quite restrictive. You feel like you're having a really good day and then get knackered from empting the dishwasher! I had a CT Scan for my Crohn's two weeks ago (the contrast one that sounds like the one you had). Then I had other doctor appointments and at the end of the week, I spent the whole day in hospital with my husband after thinking he was having another heart attack! (he wasn't though, he's ok. I reckon it's just his body in shock from exercise and healthy eating!!). So, I've spent the last fortnight recovering from just a few busy days. I think you're coping with being poorly, doing essays and working on your dissertation marvelously - hats off to you! I need a snooze just thinking about it. All the best - (really enjoying your vlogs too, by the way) - Ren
Thank you so much for your comment! I hope you're feeling better very soon. Totally know what you mean about needing a long time to recover from (what seem to be) just a few busy days. I'm absolutely shattered after this first week back at work, and lots of appointments in the Easter holidays x
I felt so bad for you when you were having your injections. pottering in the garden is the best thing for you! all that lovely sun and the birds singing bees buzzing etc. we are jn autumn now and expecting our first cold southerly coming through tomorrow! so enjoy your lovely spring!
Ah thank you, it's been a bit more bearable since the first time but still not pleasant. Sadly our warm weather only lasted for a week! It's freezing and rainy again now x
