    Hi Thanks for the email. At time code 2:03 you mentioned a custom email field so you can select Email field... can you explain that more? I have a use case where I want to send an email to the same Contact on Account X when Account A, B, C, etc hits a trigger.

    Thank you for the video. My onlu issue with this is: why the email sent does not stay on Account record activity? What changes can we make in order tocthe email get registered on the activities record? Thank you

      For now you need to create a email message record but in this summer 23 release we are getting this feature to create a email message record automatically.

    My flow worked fine .. received email alert as well but the record fields weren't generated..i could only see labels

    I have created a simple flow....when an opportunity is closed won , account owner should receive an email....my flow is not showing any error but the owner is not receiving email....what would be the problem?

      the same way we create dynamic body either use the text template or directly write the content in the Subject option.

      After sending email you need to create a email activity record.

    i created an email template and email alert but when im trying to preview my email it shows error message as "Unable to send the template preview email. Uncheck 'Send email preview to' checkbox to continue with preview." even if i create my record im not getting any email alert through mails can u help me with this.

    Thank you. This was helpful. But I am facing an issue while implementing. I want to send an email to the Email Field on Contact Object but need to merge Account Fields in the Template. Somehow it throws an error while saving the record "We don't recognize the field prefix Account." Can you please help me with this?

      Lightning Email Templates doesn’t support Account and Contact Merge fields maybe it’s a bug but I also faced the same issue

    Hi,
    Liked your Video the way you explained it, I have a query though. Here's what I'm trying to achieve:
    I have created an email alert on Account(We use person Account) and used a custom email field as PA doesn't allow email field in alerts.
    I am then trying to create a triggered flow but on a custom object as when a field on a custom object changes this email should be triggered to the related account using email alert. I'm getting error in the flow for email alert action as I think I'm not able to put the right value in the record.Id field. Please suggest

      I don’t think so there will be any problem if you use ischanged please debug your flow and check the email setting in process automation in quick find

      You can’t with record triggered flow but you can show with screen flows.

    Hi, can anyone know how to add record link to the classic email templates so when a user click on the link it redirects to record view
    The link might changes to diffrent environment like if i excute in production it will not redirect which i used in sandbox @salesforce geek
