My first wife Jean told me about this event. She had just graduated from the local high school. Her family lived near Norton company. The tornado did not hit their house but she did go out to look around immediately after the tornado had passed. She was shocked when she started seeing all the dead. She said that there was a chain mail fence where one of the bodies had passed through. On one side of the fence there was a head and all the bones and on the other side there was only hamburger, the remains of the body that passed through the fence. After seeing that she went back home and told her folks to stay home until all was cleaned up.
