- Beadworker Teri Greeves and her mother, Jeri Ah-be-hill, talk about Kiowa leggings and naming outfits. Teri follows and updates the Kiowa tradition of beadwork, to tell the story of the American Indian, both contemporary and historical. Her works include beaded books, jewelry, and even high top sneakers! Teri was featured in the Origins episode of Craft in America.

I learned to bead on a loom when I was going to school at Riverside Indian School back in 1983. The style of loom was different than most people I show them to. The front was higher and than the bottom end. I have wondered if that is a Kiowa style of loom? I love the beadwork you have :) I knew Karla Wildcat sat with her watching her husband dance in Anadarko, she said darn when he took one step too many at the end, that's when I learned to watch their feet. :)
