    I've two questions for you:
    - 0:18 what set did you get these bolts from?
    - how to do so that the fuel lines are not transparent but yellowish inside?
    Respect for your great work

    • @12percent_on_the_desk

      Thank you for your comment.
      The bolt is made of resin, but the manufacturer is unknown.
      It is not made in Japan. It is probably a European manufacturer and sold as AFV parts.
      The fuel hose is colored rubber cord sold at handicraft stores.
      Many colors are sold. Orange is used here.
      The surface is shiny as it is, so it is scratched with sandpaper.
      Sorry for the poor explanation.

      And now it is the rainy season in Japan. It's raining a lot this year.
      I want to avoid painting in the rain. I'm sorry, but please wait a little longer.

    Incredible work, you inspire many people here. Can I ask, do all the hoses and wiring come in the kit, or do you fabricate and find them elsewhere?

    • @12percent_on_the_desk
      @12percent_on_the_desk  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for your comment.
      The hose is included in the kit.
      But they are all made of vinyl and the thickness is very different.
      So we use hoses from various manufacturers.

    Great model mate. Quick question, where did you get the nuts, bolts and screws from?

    • @12percent_on_the_desk
      @12percent_on_the_desk  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you for your comment.
      The bolt heads can be made from sliced hexagonal plastic rod or
      Plastic aftermarket parts are used.
      (or the ones sold for plastic models of tanks)
      There are metal ones, but they are too expensive so I don't use them.

    Hello... What's the type of clue are you using? I see it works well with painted parts, normally glue doesn't adhere well to paint.

    • @12percent_on_the_desk
      @12percent_on_the_desk  ปีที่แล้ว

      The paint used is lacquer-based.
      Adhesives used are those for plastic models and cyanon-based.
      It can be glued without any problem.
      What I am rather worried about is that the adhesive will dissolve the paint.

      The bolts and other parts are aftermarket parts.
      This manufacturer sells AFV parts. The name of the manufacturer is unknown. The letters were unfamiliar to me.
      I also have some sliced up "plastruct" hex bars.
      Recently, some people are creating them with 3D printers and selling them on auction sites.
      It is hard to find cheap and usable parts, but it is fun.

    Great work. Love to watch you guys and gals build these cars. I keep expecting to see them drive around after they are finished. But one question. Wouldn’t the brake line be ran around the motor instead of over it. The heat coming off the motor would boil the brake fluid causing air pockets

    • @12percent_on_the_desk
      @12percent_on_the_desk  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oh! I see. You may be right.
      I have a collection of F1 photos from that time as a reference.
      But there are some parts that I can't see.
      I make those parts based on speculation.
      I am sure there are many other parts that are wrong.

      Seems to me that around the motor would mean closer to the exhaust pipes. Which is likely hotter than the top where cool fresh air comes from the top of the cowl when the car is in motion. But interesting point👍
