Great job on the wiring , we fitted a maxx a couple of years ago , had to figure it out same as you. Did it in a similar way . Great videos thanks for the info 👍
@@tpsfab I found more after I searched. This was the only one that was in with some of Dave’s (Ligouri). Nice clean install. Do all the components come with the standalone or did you put it together….ie the relays and distribution bars positive/negatives. I am building a 4.60 Turbo Busa Motor full chassis car tire
Thats awesome man! Im 100% convinced there isnt 1 thing a man can do, that another cant learn to do! I try to keep my videos "real". And show what a regular dude can do to make things work and work good!
Great video am going buy and install the ft550 on my 07gsxr1000 was not really sure until I watch your video much help I'm going to order from Liguori like you said.
I appreciate the video… It was very helpful… One quick question, where did you get the diagram of the inputs??? I bought the 550. But, before I start wiring. I want to plan it out the best that I can… Thank You!!
In the software once you select or deselect all the options you are gonna use for inputs and outputs....it generates the wiring diagram. And will also add or remove as you change or modify your setup and features
Great video ! I just stumbled across this. I am putting a 550 on my nitrous busa and this has helped alot. I was planning on using my oem lighting wiring. Was it a pain to rewire the lights ? It would be nice to get rid of all the factory wiring.
Thinking about going to a total loos system like you have with either Rc batteries or attempting to keep my antigravity. Would really enjoy a video diving in to that more. Still looking to have a streetable bike but getting tired of the charging issues. Love your videos! Keep up the good work man!
The Fueltech generates its own wiring diagram/ pinout based on what features or setup you run. After that you just make the connections however you feel is best or easiest
Its from LEASH ELECTRONICS...you can get em configured however you like...ground or power triggered and and combo of each. And the amount of relays you pick
@tpsfab Thx man, have been watching your vids for quite some time now. They are VERY informative and you have helped me in alot of questions that I just couldn't get anyone else to answer! So keep up the GREAT work and vids... If you ever get a chance to swing down to Florida, let me know, you'll always have a fellow racer to hang out with! 🫡👍🏿
@tpsfab Hey hope you can, I used to live in Michigan and used to travel here during the winter when we wanted to test the motors we build during the winter. Told myself Shit, I'm moving here!! Year round tracks OPEN!! Was at the track in January racing... 🏖
Yes, the 5v supply from the ecu runs to the bottom half of my positive buss bar. Then all my 5v supply sensor wires connect up the the screw terminals.
I had to do one of their updates to keep tuning and i was at the track when it locked me out without the update. So i updated it during a rain delay and the update REMOVED the map switching feature i was using for a nitrous map. I had no warning and the next pass was a nitrous pass and it no longer had the 2nd map to flip to. I called em on it and all the said was they removed that feature because they couldn't verify it was functioning. Well.....i can guarantee it was before the update
@@tpsfab Damn, kind of puts me back to the drawing board, my bike is no where near needing a standalone ecu, I'm almost done with my build and was actually thinking about doing a woolich setup and I actually was going to be doing a 40 shot on the stock motor
Depending on the year of your bike /ecu, they still have many features. My bike being and older 03, their wasn't a lot of features and I dont think they cared to put much effort into the tuning of that ecu. Not super desirable
Beautifully done.
Amazing job, thanks for taking the time to show it. I'll be dealing with Dave as well, and it definitely made me more confident to wire it myself
I’m an automation engineer. I have a Buell Lightning that I plan on modernizing by using a stand alone and TFT display.
What works for you is the way to go

Nice! Getting rid of the oem wiring and just doin a small harness for the lights is easy and pretty simple when its done
good video
What brand buss bars did you use? Did they come split? Or did you mod them?
Thanks for an awesome wiring walk thru!
They are just some i picked off Amazon that fit and were the style i had in mind. I split them in the middle to make the best use of em
@@tpsfab thanks for the reply and info!
Help me out a lot thanks

do you mind telling me the rpm signal setup? Im stuck with mine! I need to know the first tooth align degree and teeth count! thanks
I'll double check mine tonight, when i get home. If i dont reply msg me again, i probably just forgot!
Sensor- VR DIFFERENTIAL
Crank trigger- 24-2 at crank
Crank index- 110* - 7 teeth -5*
Is it a must to have the sparkpro for the coils packs… just wondering
Yes ..for anything other than a smart coil like an IGN1A, type coil
Do u have a wire diagram I can work with?
The Fueltech generates its own wiring diagram/ pinout based on what features or setup you run. After that you just make the connections however you feel is best or easiest
Could I get one of your base maps
Where did you get your relay/ fuse block? What brand is it?

Thank you
Hey, where did you aquire your fuse relay block from??
That is from Leash Electronics

Where you get your tail fairing from?
Its a Catalyst brand tail. I think its called One Moto now?
You said running 5v sensors to bus bar?
Yes, the 5v supply from the ecu runs to the bottom half of my positive buss bar. Then all my 5v supply sensor wires connect up the the screw terminals.
