- In a scandal that's been percolating since November, streamer Destiny has been revealed to have shared intimate videos between himself and his "orbiters" non-consensually. The story had stalled since none of the victims had come forward and those in the know were afraid to break the story. Enter President Sunday, a marginal figure in the streaming space who wasn't going to let any victims get in his way. He secretly recorded Drama Impresario NIcholas DeOrio giving him background confirming his information and made him the face of the allegations.
Destiny may very well be cooked, but there's some lingering questions about Sunday's methods which I address in this video.

Destiny is known for his objectivity and desire for fact and data driven arguments. What could you possibly object to in that approach?

Destiny will probably just wait it out until it's an old news story and then barrel forward. Trump is president and he's lost a civil SA case, but is president. So sharing nudes is tame by those standards. I think
my guess is that he’ll do an apology where he really seems like he’s owning up to it and changing his ways, and his remaining fans - who are just quietly seeking a permission structure to start openly liking him again - will seize upon it as a form of plausible deniability.
it will definitely be a hit against his quest to become legitimized and mainstream though. his community has really been trying to sell him as that “Joe Rogan of the Left,” and up until this week he was actually getting some traction with the DNC (democrats took that “Rogan of the Left” to mean “Hasans but with the poIitics of Pod Save” - and so they were actually planning collaborations with Destiny before all this happened).

Sunday making any reference to how a victim personally processes their trauma publicly, in real time is irrelevant. And gross. There’s too many moving parts here, Sunday. You’re gonna break something. The victim can’t be held responsible for future victims while they are busy being that victim. it’s inconvenient, I know. 🤦🏼♀️ God
people want to be seen as sorry incase the burning of an asset costs a life or two or more
Dammit…I’m not discounting when Sunday gets things right and exposes evil, I just can’t justify victim blaming with regards to their predator. Selling out is Bad, of course.. and I do wish the victim did not accept the payout. But I would hardly characterize this as “extortion”.
