I make a soup from leftover corned beef and cabbage. Chop all the ingredients small., rutabagas, turnip, potatoes, beef......everything!! It's so delicious. And if there is any of this leftover, it goes in the freezer. 😂😂
From leftover cornbread dressing and chicken or turkey with gravy, make a patty with cold dressing, place some chicken/turkey and gravy on top, place another dressing patty on top and pinch the top and bottom together, place on buttered baking sheet, bake until crispy and browned on both sides. Had one of them toy ovens that looked like an old fashioned wood cook stove and that was the first thing I ever made in it. Will still make them to this day, they make good appetizers or work just as well for a round two supper. You can also spread cornbread dressing on a buttered sheet pan, top with chicken/turkey and gravy, top with more dressing and bake the whole thing as a dressing pie, and just cut slices for serving.
From leftover steamed/boiled carrots, toss in a skillet with some butter and olive oil, thinly sliced onions, thyme, rosemary, salt and pepper, then fry them up until brown and tasty. You can add some brussels sprouts or even some steamed cauliflower. Round two cranked up a notch or two, but you can also just drain your carrots straight from a can and cook them up this way.
