Black 5 44871 and the ill fated 'The Swanage Belle' 26th June 2024

Chaos would ensue on the South Western Mainline as Black 5 44871 took charge of The Swanage Belle by Railway Touring Company running from London Victoria to Swanage.
With the fire severity was in the amber across the south of England as there has been few weeks of no rain and endless scorching sunshine.
But sadly three lineside went off which cause a huge mess along the line between Brockenhurst and Bournemouth and 44871 is grounded so the return was hauled back with a Class 47 only as far a Clapham Junction.
Also did see 34053 Sir Keith Park hauling services on the Swanage Railway
Location Taken: Egham, Totters Lane Bridge, Ashurst New Forest, Valley Road near Corfe Castle, Swanage, Dickers Crossing and New Barn.
