Why was the gate move at roughly the 3:07 mark removed from the performance? We put that back in 1992 thanks to watching the 1967 Guard performance and it was so much better than the junk we were taught. This is almost the same thing we originally did. I know each years Guard has the chance to make changes but make good ones, not ones that make the move look lazy.

It is a shame The Citadel Series has changed so much! Guard from class of 1988
Unfortunately, the commandant that year had a lot to do with changes that were made in the guard's performance.
This was also a condensed performance due to the timeline for halftime.
