The album conversation makes me feel so heard. If bands like Pink Floyd or Rush were out today theyd struggle because the experience of the album was such an important thing. Now it seems if it isnt 2 minutes of ultra pop with a three chord progression you wont be listened to.
Seeing one of the biggest comedic influences work his way into my favorite medium (podcasting) is really satisfying. I can see him getting more and more comfortable with the format.
Holy smokes Davey Boy! Great get and nice throwback to Laura and Ennis. Last time I saw them was at a South End roof party in the late 80s on `shrooms, was that Bob Qua's place? Can't remember... long time ago bro. Remember the hurricane party on Beacon Street down by the dorms? Everclear and bilge weed that stank of diesel fumes and salt water! Good times.
Wow! A Miracle Legion reference! I think they were Connecticut based. You should both know that Mark Mulcahy (lead) is still going strong and about to go on tour. I promise that you'd still like the music!
see kids, back in the day we had this thing called a "social situation" where we would "fully invest in a point a friend was making" just kidding i never had friends
If you go to Atlanta, go to the section of Bufford HWY that they are talkin about. It's about 20 min from the Buckhead/Midtown area. They have 15-25 Asian Restaurants, including many great buffets. One place has a fully loaded huge Korean, Chinese, and Japanese sections under one roof for one price - all you can eat.
Yeah. I'm from that area. I know those kinds of towns. Creepy af. They're mostly puppy mills and backyard breeders. Those 'wholesome godly people' probably talked shit about you after you left. I recommend adopting a dog from a rescue over that bs any day.
love seeing two powerful asian women celebrate each other
Bravo!
As a fellow Gen Xer, it feels good seeing comedians that have stayed so singular and themselves. I truly love these two. 💚💚
David is getting the best guests!
The Cho Must Go On!
Great to see Margaret! ....and Sloan Feb 2020 at the Vinyl in ATL doing Navy Blue in full was the last show I saw before lockdown

Goodmorning and goodnight
Metal community and subcultures still anticipate albums and listen to full albums
Bad news…most vinyl is made from digital CD masters….so it’s just digital sound on vinyl..
@@paulferranti8536 true!! Very rare to find any vinyl created from Lacquer Masters anymore 🤷♂️
see kids, back in the day we had this thing called a "social situation" where we would "fully invest in a point a friend was making"

@@paulferranti8536The analog gear, be it vinyl or tape, will still color the sound

Margaret Cho knows how to hold a chihuahua. That's a happy, relaxed dog.

Miracle Legion was from New Haven

Miracle Legion was Connecticut! Dumptruck was Boston.
In college, I lived on what she called “mini thins.” It was legal coke. Ubiquitous and magical. God, I miss those days.
So, you know for your next pup, there are breed specific rescues for any and every breed of dog.
Jolt Cola's slogan was "All the sugar, twice the caffine."
Is 49 minutes in the latest "Hey ummm Google this" call out in an episode yet?! 🤣
Wasn’t expecting bean talk.
I need to see the photo of Cross in the baby studio
I flew with Margaret from John wayne to pdx she had the coolest black and white star boots
I'm just here for the 90's nostalgia
Wait, Casey!? Where's Emma!?
I felt time going into reverse after about 15 mins.
David, re your ad question, “do you even know how many subscriptions you have?”, I have one (Comedy Bang Bang World). Peter

I had two comedic hero's, Pryor and Goldberg. Then I saw Cho and there are three.
Didn’t Ken Stringfellow get canceled?
"NO! What the FUCK! A DOLLAR?!??!!?!"
Did Dave get a haircut?
Cho CHo Cho Your Boat
Have to know who Craig/Chris is now
Did any other nerd start to lose it when David almost accidentally rediscovered a Mr Show bit
Five.... five.... five dollar foot long podcast.
"Which chair would you like to sit in..."
Lol, I knew that song sounded familiar 😆
Legends
If Cho transitioned to being male she could do a comedy special on Cho'vanism.
David, the fucking Mr. Show What Happened book is over $80 a pop USED. Y'all serisously need to reprint that thing.
Mr Cho
Galaxie 500 is the best.
Blowfly was the alter ego of soul ainger Clarence Reid.
Craig, whonare you, where are you, and are you still mean?
It's so crazy to be able to say a staycation is stupid. I could not afford anything else and it is SO lucky to be able to be home for even 3 days.
I don't know....she seems like she would be an og Karen flipping out at a Starbucks.
Soooo... all of these stories are fake right?
First
What an accomplishment!
@TheBrockwellBroadcastNetwork Nobody is awake except you and me and I agree, amazing.
