Both CD's on that whole album were straight fire. You could literally play through them both without skipping one song. I listened to that album non stop back in the day.
When it comes to hiphop. After life after death and All eyez on me. Thug mentality might b the best double disc. Im kinda pissed to think that the producer of Heated Heavy wasn’t credited
When thug Mentality came out was so cold I listening to everyday on the school bus with my CD walkman I just wish he did more videos on it but then next album Good vs Evil I didn't care for it but still have it to my collection
@@mizzo_beeto ehhh. Art of war was tight but to some of us thought it was a little too soft compared to their first album. I like art of war but it took some gettin use to at first. Thug mentality was about the best member being locked in all the way in his own world. But to each his own
@@shaunbal3323CTD was dope...it just took a few listens to grow on me ...but c'mon...Ride for me is 🔥, What If, Brand New Everything is unlike any rap song I've ever heard, and dope verses from both Bizzy and Kray, the song with Caine, where Caine absolutely goes off, and rides the beat perfectly, Chasin' Nightmares was good, and a good story...to call it trash is ludicrous...
@@shaunbal3323 You don't? Crazy how you've been missing out and how you couldn't appreciate Chasing the Devil. It was creative and had a great message actually. People evolve and he's still releasing quality that will go into history as a great legacy for Bone Thugs-N-Harmony.
I still remember running to the record shop after school to go get that album. That anxiety and nervousness and anticipation of what the album is gonna be like, even though you KNOW it’s gonna be fire lol. Man I hopped on the bus headed back home and played “Heated Heavy” about 20 times! I didn’t even bother to listen to the rest of the album until the next day. That’s how crazy that FIRST song was. Classic album and times man
This is officially THE BEST Bone interview I have ever watched. Big Court is referencing EVERY song I would have inquired about and at the beginning I was damn near moved to tears to see the daddy-daughter synergy rappin Heated Heavy, I raised my 4 daughters under the EXACT same act!!!!! My respect and admiration for this good brother and his platform is growing by the day frfr......💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾👑👑👑
Much props to Court and his daughter!! Ive raised my kids giving them FEW other music choices other than BONE. I feel like ive been practicing my whole life to actually do what you and your daughter did with Kray!! Much love from Columbus, Ohio
We've all got 5 Living Legends and Krayzie Bone is an absolute gem! Always felt his messages in his music and the way he can articulate the best delivery style ever to all of us is a blessing! Much love Krayzie Bone!
I hate being bias when it comes to Bone Thugs n Harmony, but Krayzie is the one I relate to the most. He is a silent warrior (yep) I totally see him as a top tier lyricist.
TM 1999 is a straight masterpiece. I still have my physical copy of the album. Kray was talking about rereleasing the album with bonus songs that didn’t make the album, I hope he is still thinking about doing it.
@tonynorris1506 Some of those songs were recorded in the same sessions as The Art Of War, and possibly didn't get used. He kept 'em for his album, I guess. There were probably close to a hundred songs that got started by Kray, during The Art Of War recording process.
Absolutely love that Holdin Court are huge fans. Talking about samples and clearing up folklores. So good. Having the knowledge to even ask about KnightRidaz is so fulfilling as a longtime Krayzie fan.
You are most definitely teasing us with these short interviews I'm a big bone fan and I highly appreciate this interview what made this interview untouchable from any bone interviews is that your a big fan yourself 🔥
I’m going to need all of these fast paced, half harmonious rappers and singers to admit where they got their style and flow from and give Bone Thugs what they deserve! The Crown, The Belt, The Ring and whatever else they give to Champions these days. They shaped the entire Hip-Hop scene for almost 30 of its 50 years of existence. Bone Thugs 4EVER! 💯
I still listen to Tha Knieght Rieduz till this day. The best side Bone underground music ever. It brought out a whole new level of the underground music that it help escape real life issues. Knieght Rieduz here we come!
I loved all the different producers that Krayzie had on "Thug Mentality 1999". They gave him some dope ass beats for him to rap and harmonize over. Not to mention that Krayzie is also a dope producer in his own right.

Major props to you guys. Krayzie has always been the worst bone member to interview because how shy and guarded he is about everything. This is by far the best interview he did.
Most people ask him the same questions over and over again. About the bus trip to meet Eazy, working with Biggie and 2pac, how did he feel when easy died. Where was bizzy? Not bad questions, but all these guys get asked them interview after interview, and the interviews are boring as a result. This interview has real questions by real fans and it shows
Bone Thugz-N-Harmony is my favorite group of all time in any genre. I got their group projects and solo projects. I thought it was a fan, but Court you are fan for real.

I shouldn't be doing this but here's the real KFC chicken recipe... 8 cups flour 1 cup salt 1/2 cup of accent or MSG 3 tbsp black pepper 1 tbsp white pepper 1 tbsp garlic powder 3 tbsp oregano 1 tbsp thyme 1 tbsp paprika 1 tbsp cayenne pepper 1 1/2 tbsp cumin Mix well and store in a tight jar or sealed bag, the longer it is stored the better it is. Clean chicken, wash and dry. Dip chicken parts into beaten egg. Shake/mix in bag and deep fry @350-400F for 10 minutes, or until brown, use own discretion depending on the fryer. Use only oil. Enjoy! This recipe comes straight from the vault, there's more info on cooking times and chicken parts but you get the jest.
