As someone with glasses too i can advice u that when u buy headsets to look for the option 'glasses friendly' i'm doing this with my last 2 headsets and its a blessing to be able to play games for hours and hours without any pain after some time :)
Is anyone else annoyed about when he was doing his placements and climbing from the lower ranks how he expected his lower-level teammates to play like masters?
I know, like asianboii is clearly playing the game for the lols. Sometimes people enjoy the safety of low ranks with not having to play the game at the breakneck speed of pros.
i understand the frustration when the team keeps splitting up and not staying on point but I definitely feel like upper ranks sometimes forget that lower ranks do not have as much trained game sense as they do

Bro this is one of the most educational Unranked-to-GMs I've ever seen. I've been playing Echo a lot recently for some easy wins, she's definitely a sleeper pick right now. Can't wait for Part 2!
For those who don't like using the 'hold shift' setting on Echo, you can use the toggle, you just have to press it again pretty much the moment the time pops up. It can be a little tough to do consistently at first, but it just comes down to timing
"Youre kinda toxic for playing so bad at the game" is literally the most hypocritical and misunderstanding of the word 'toxic' ive ever heard. Someone not performing as good as you hoped isn't even toxic, but the way you say it is. And for someone who was giving you a nice compliment aswell, just rude. And from the top of the comment section it seems like the video gets a whole lot worse.

Bro you are smurfing and whining about your teammates not being good enough. You are good but comon man, stop crying about your teammates. "Im definitely going to avoid my Kirko" childish stuff bro. Youre the guy that whines every time you lose a match in comp. I really like the educational value that this video provides his saltiness is fine everyone gets upset with their team just as long as ur not saying it in team chat
Really enjoying this got another few hours left. Amazing gameplay tons of useful tips and tricks. Echo carry potential is huge but there is nothing more "Overwatch" than killing both supports juking the enemy tank and still losing the fight. Swear sometimes I feel like my team took a detour through mcdonalds drive thru and somehow fell in the ball pit. To each there own, i'm only a low masters so wtf do i know, but. I use shift to crouch and mouse buttons for abilities. I Do NOT use the hold for flight. Yes it is more difficult to get the boost tech, however for me it was easier to use her omni flight easier without the hold function. I win a lot of echo duels when the enemy echo isnt comfortable using crouch while in flight to decend and than ascend, most just go up or fall, Just wanted to say it's not the end of the world if you prefer one its just a lot easier with hold. I may have missed it, there is a lot of video lol. I did not here you mention crouch boosting, When you boost while holding crouch making Echos character dive down horizontally while getting the speed buff. I Love using this tech in duels, jump strafe left and when you hit the peak of the jump use the crouch boost down to the right immediately ascend above their head, Also a really good way to cover ground to cover when you are being held by widow. Your head hitbox is practically in the ground.
It's very nice to watch your gameplay but it's a bit annoying to hear the complaints about your team's composition. I would prefer you take the more pragmatic approach of "it's not ideal comp but we'll carry this" instead of communicating to your team what they should do. It conveys a better message to people trying to rank up, they should focus on their own play rather than their team comp. I think the best format of unranked to GM is being out of voice-chat completely it's just my two cents, thanks for the awesome upload ! It's insane the ease with which you play at high level and comment the play by play and intent behind every move, truly impressive
You should watch Jake unranked to gm if you havent. Its an old series from ow1 but a lot of info is still relevant in ow2. Out of voice and instead of telling people to switch or play differently he explained how and why he would adjust the playstyle and change heroes based on what his team and enemy team was playing
Hey, as a thing for glasses and headphones I suggest having flat square hooks that go around your ears instead of a single thin wire while also having soft foam earmuffs and you'll never notice the glasses under your earmuffs again
2:34:00 perfection, That game was a dub 100% if he just stayed calm. All he is saying is coming to reality, he is cursing his team, forcing them to play bad, he wants to lose so badly they are making it a reality for him, very nice to see it live, how your thoughts influence your reality and how your vibe influence what other people give you back as a result. Splendid!
Glasses headphone tip: Get aftermarket headphone pads, find ones that are big and squishy so they have more surface area to spread the pressure off the frames.
Great fucking video. Actually taught how to play the character in a reasonable amount of time and did it well too. Also 7 wins straight in 53 minutes, very impressive
Wow actually found a channel for overwatch that actually teaches you and doesn't have gameplay of supports holding their hand entire games lol new favorite channel👌
1:26:55 was a real gem. He's actively looking at the scoreboard, which shows him having more deaths than most of the lobby, and the most deaths on his team, and complains about his teammates dying too much. Right after letting himself get hooked by hog again. If I had no idea who samito is, I'd say that was some beautifully scripted bait. What an unfortunate human being.
This video is so informative. Thank you. Lots of fantastic tips in general. I feel you did you really good job explaining everything you did and why you were doing it.
I'm metal rank so my opinion doesn't matter but tbh all the Moira hate is kinda ick. Tesla plays Moira exclusively in GM1 and does better than most supports so blaming the hero for a loss is weird. I'd probably would really like these Unranked to GMs a lot more if the hero blame stopped, these are educational and fun but hating on picks just makes me uncomfortable.
check out awkward's u2gm videos instead. constantly preaches that hero choice is never the problem and cuts all the bullshit. no hero blame, no team blame. just good educational commentary.
I am not going to lie I just started playing overwatch when overwatch 2 came out and i have learned a lot from this video thank you so much you are incredible
I absolutely loved echo in ow1 but genji was that guy but due to nerf and u playing echo I’m finally so much more happy playing her then anyone else thx lil bro
I know you've moved away from OW2 now Samito but I just wanted to thank you so much for making your videos. I've learnt so much about how to get the most out of Echo and how to adapt my play style versus different heroes. My own skill is now infinitely better! Thank you so much for the content , and best wishes for Mineplex :)
i'm new to overwatch and to echo, but i'd say i'm decent with her. my biggest issue is knowing when to push to secure a kill and when to back up. i also need to be more disciplined with flight; for example at 1:57:59 when you go for the widow, i would have flown in to engage, and then not had flight to chase her when she grappled away. she's got a bit of a steep learning curve to her, and of course you kind of need to know every other hero to get the most value out of her, but that will come with time (like i said i'm new to the game).

Your head hitbox is practically in the ground.
i love your echo gameplay so much sam definitely gonna start watching the streams!
“Fresh from the Elmer’s convention” lmaooo😭😭😭😭
Samito: struggling, having to hard carry in the beginning.
Me without good mechanical skill: guess I'll lose *shrug*
you are literally the best like.. coach/idek ever on overwatch that does like vod reviews and stuff like this. Especially with echo. thanks so much
17:24 x is left to right, y is up and down, z is forward backwards for those who wanna know
It's very nice to watch your gameplay but it's a bit annoying to hear the complaints about your team's composition. I would prefer you take the more pragmatic approach of "it's not ideal comp but we'll carry this" instead of communicating to your team what they should do. It conveys a better message to people trying to rank up, they should focus on their own play rather than their team comp. I think the best format of unranked to GM is being out of voice-chat completely
it's just my two cents, thanks for the awesome upload ! It's insane the ease with which you play at high level and comment the play by play and intent behind every move, truly impressive
You should watch Jake unranked to gm if you havent. Its an old series from ow1 but a lot of info is still relevant in ow2. Out of voice and instead of telling people to switch or play differently he explained how and why he would adjust the playstyle and change heroes based on what his team and enemy team was playing
no you want to use comms lmao
The winston saying "i cant solo tank". Had to check my watch for that one. Can confirm, this is ow2.
Echo singing Bastion's ult song is epic
Great fucking video. Actually taught how to play the character in a reasonable amount of time and did it well too. Also 7 wins straight in 53 minutes, very impressive
like it's funny how allmost everyone you played against never looked up, but when i play echo they allways look up
"zarya doingg a heck of a lot of nothing here" LMao
9:47 "We are doing the Lord's work this game"
You definitely are 💀💀
Ayo “fresh from the Elmer’s convention where he was the number 1 taste tester” 😂 dedddddddd
Definitely stealing that
Wow actually found a channel for overwatch that actually teaches you and doesn't have gameplay of supports holding their hand entire games lol new favorite channel👌
This dude is angry 24/7, nothing educational about smurfing and complaining about bad teammates lol
I'm very impressed that you can play that well while explaining everything your doing
It's because he is playing against low rank players
Sam's Team in the first game is so lost even the FBI and SOCO alongside NASA won't be able to find them..
This isn't echo unranked to gm, it's randoms unranked to gm cus I'm learning more from his teammates
God damn this guy cries anytime it doesn’t go his way 💀💀
1:26:55 was a real gem. He's actively looking at the scoreboard, which shows him having more deaths than most of the lobby, and the most deaths on his team, and complains about his teammates dying too much. Right after letting himself get hooked by hog again. If I had no idea who samito is, I'd say that was some beautifully scripted bait. What an unfortunate human being.
flaming team 24/7 is one thing but flaming while smurfing in plat? jesus christ i wish anyone else put out echo content
wow here i am trying to learn the double shift timing for nax flight speed
His ability to coach the games and call plays is his greatest skill
There is nothing more satisfying than watching a bad ass echo player
you should try not constantly feeding zarya bubbles and your team would probably live longer and win more fights
“my team must be doing absolutely never” samito
5:34:51 his reaction to mercy teabagging before rez lmaoooo
thx for the long video, stuck at home with the flu and this was helpful to take my mind of it.
I've always heard that you should fear samito and his echo but never realized it till I saw him go 32, and 3 against a bunch of newbs solo carrying
I'd probably would really like these Unranked to GMs a lot more if the hero blame stopped, these are educational and fun but hating on picks just makes me uncomfortable.
check out awkward's u2gm videos instead. constantly preaches that hero choice is never the problem and cuts all the bullshit. no hero blame, no team blame. just good educational commentary.
the hold to fly is game changing and watching you play helps me so much Thank you
I am not going to lie I just started playing overwatch when overwatch 2 came out and i have learned a lot from this video thank you so much you are incredible
I absolutely loved echo in ow1 but genji was that guy but due to nerf and u playing echo I’m finally so much more happy playing her then anyone else thx lil bro
HELP ! This unrank to GM was funny asf ily
I appreciate the clean cuts to the next game Samito, this vid was exactly what I needed too. Thanks for your effort and nuggets of knowledge o/
I know you've moved away from OW2 now Samito but I just wanted to thank you so much for making your videos. I've learnt so much about how to get the most out of Echo and how to adapt my play style versus different heroes. My own skill is now infinitely better! Thank you so much for the content , and best wishes for Mineplex :)
this not only helps me with learning echo but also improve my mercy game play xd
There is a paucity of Echo content for OW2, so thank you for this!
Got to say you’re an absolute GOAT
I wanted to watch something like this so much and then I found this video!! Timing was impecable!
Thanks!
i'm new to overwatch and to echo, but i'd say i'm decent with her. my biggest issue is knowing when to push to secure a kill and when to back up. i also need to be more disciplined with flight; for example at 1:57:59 when you go for the widow, i would have flown in to engage, and then not had flight to chase her when she grappled away. she's got a bit of a steep learning curve to her, and of course you kind of need to know every other hero to get the most value out of her, but that will come with time (like i said i'm new to the game).
I'm new in overwatch and you and wanted is the best content creators that I see so far, so chill and so informative keep it up man I'm already subbed.
The key is to copy sam’s incredible gameplay while avoiding sam’s mental
Just no life this whole series and the throwing zarya was peak content.
